  • Well as is, its extremely limited in what you can play... so its really hard to say anyone has "loved" what they picked. Trickster Rogue: kinda liked it, felt nice and glass cannonish Control Wizard: Rolled it because I wanted to try ranged, was fun, just... the feel of the class isn't my thing. + dorky robes GWF: had fun…
  • Honestly I stopped playing for several reasons. 1. While foundry was neat, I kinda played most of the stuff, and got tired of the mix of farming and bad gorean story quests. 2. I was excited about the regular drow, getting punched in the balls because of semantics for however many months its been kinda killed my drive to…
  • Heals generate a bit too much threat initially that or the "tanks" need a slightly higher threat generation to offset it. Honestly though this game isn't needing very many buffs, just (more) competent players.
  • There are several key components to gear that seem to be BOP for the gearing up. You can buy some of it, but not all of it. Rings, belts, (hats as far as the few i've found on my control wizard) The only ones i've seen for sell in mass are gloves, tops, bottoms, shoes.
  • Game hasn't been live for a week. As the items get increased in circulation, the prices will be driven down on the auction house. 1% is a bit harsh, but what tier enchant are you trying to fuse? Sounds like you already have a pretty high end enchantment. Uhm... you get astral diamonds from dailies, various quests, making…
  • The elves cannot match the skin tones of the drow. Its a nice thought. Sadly, its not the same thing.
  • Liberated borg was the unique race for that, never added.
  • You answered your own question. Lifetimes basically print zen, if they have no interest in the economy they'd just cash out and crash the value of questionite and dilithium for the players who are interested in the existing game. For people like me, who have a lifetime to at least one of those games. I'd totally just buy…

  • you have to wait two months unless you have that founders pack for the renegade one. Drow won't be available till 60 days after launch, which is sad because in alpha I rather liked my Drow CW.
  • Honestly the only thing you can do is Not give them your money if you disagree with it. Not saying "Don't" spend money on the game, but refusal to pay for anything for the first month or two (drow delay time) should send a message hopefully. The first two weeks to a month are the most important ones to a new games release.…
  • I called myself going in and editing out the idiocy that initially escaped from it being early morning. I was understanding that the book series was catering towards the new NWN game. The post was written in a 20 minute gap, aside from my misunderstandings of the intent of the books, the conflicts in wording are not…
  • That would mean you do not fall into that category then and seem to be a reasonable person who can read? I only used the buyers remorse thing as one of the few feasible reasons that kinda "misunderstanding" about the Drow would have been used. The only way you can get what you want from companies is through their wallet…
  • Personally at this point I hope everything save for the precious tan drow gets added in at some point. As fancy as the armored horse is, I can't picture it being exclusive, especially in this kinda game setting. The only rarity I've ever supported in game are ones that everyone has a shot at as far as mounts go. Be it the…
  • Then it should have been explained transparently to the masses, and not as a slight of hand job leaving many of their existing and tentative users going "WTF" Even now they haven't officially said anything, we have a forum moderator quoting an already listed thing regarding the Drow. *EDIT: seems the post has been changed…
  • From what I can gather over the past few weeks it seems that Hero Purchasers, and I am half positive most of this is buyers remorse, wanted a refund because they claimed... Which is odd considering how clear the description is about what you are getting. That they bought it because they thought the Drow race was going to…
  • If thats the case then its clearly designed to maximize their sales of the hero pack, which is kinda lame when you get down to it. I bought the guardian because I don't have that kind of disposable income for video games. I figured for the price of what I'd spend on a new game in a month it would be fine. Drow had been put…
  • Does this mean that only the Heroes can make renegade drow only? or are they also being allowed to create the regular drow ahead of time? I still think this is the worst compromise for a small portion of the community who appears to be illiterate ****s. Having played with the drow creation in alpha, and seeing that they…
  • It may not be the same thing but this is cryptic, they will reuse the model eventually.
  • you do realize there will be an archer class eventually, and many other classes are just as fun. But yeah, at the current time only 4 classes are known, I dunno what you expected to have happen. Its been a long long time since i've seen a proper mmo "archer' most end up being vanilla regurgitation of the Wow Hunter class.…
  • I've heard that people have datamined values for a ranger class, so I expect that to be the archer class at somepoint. Given that it and the warlock where kinda leaked and known about for a bit, and the seeming feel that warlocks are coming soon. (currently classless cloth items are droping, heavily hinting that they are…
  • Uhh... Being a game that is a mmo, selling itself as an online only multiplayer game, how does this copy EA exactly?
  • Pretty much this. Anytime a player buys astral diamonds from someone for zen. They gave cryptic money to buy them from players. So in a way, you have thousands of freemium monkeys working at building astral diamond supplies prompting people to buy it with zen. Both are controlled by cryptic, so cryptic wins :D
  • My only issue is I had purchased the founders pack in anticipation of such a move, only to learn that If I don't shell out another hundred or so I have to wait an entire two months to play a race I was looking forward too. A week, sure, two weeks, fine, but two months? Seriously? I can understand not wanting this game to…
