Players come and go every day. When players lose interest or have new life priorities come up, they just stop playing. Why would anyone want to permanently delete characters and accounts after sinking all that time in the game? They might want to come back one day.
Give everyone who leaves the penalty. The problem is not the first guy willing to take a penalty. The problem is everyone else fleeing afterwards. Need to encourage more people to at least give the run a try. Make the 15-minute vote abandon the more attractive option to the penalty.
Its back to the way it was today. Back to killing the dragonclaws fast enough they dont even have a chance to start turning. Not sure what happened. The only thing unusual is I had left a failed SVA run (had enough newbies and we failed because ice breaking wasn't a priority and healers don't know how to heal). Then…
The only thing I remember from the pre-RQ days is running only eToS and SoT on every toon I have. And lots of people ran trash toons to get the full reward on each toon they sent through the grinder.
Doubt this will happen. Slots are not that expensive. Players wanting to play another class can just buy a slot and use a 20% coupon. A 80% off slots only encourages players to build an invoke army, something I'm sure the devs don't like.
I just cleared out all old enchantments from the inventory of all my alts. Actually feel relieved, like after a good spring cleaning. The new system does seem simpler. At the very least, I like not having to slot enchantments in each piece of gear. The unlock at mythic should be very alt friendly for people with many dps…
It took me like 3 hours to complete RTQ yesterday because I kept getting demo. I think it was just unfortunate timing. On weekdays, I usually queue up my OP and most of the time I get Tiamat on the first hit. Makes sense since people need Linu's Favor for boons. Sometimes I get CoDG or even Svardborg. But getting demo is…
At this point, probably 95% of the players know what to do. Three decent DPS can make it a single-phase run. The other 5% can just follow the crowd. The only thing I might mention is that when the group is at blue, don't f-ing attack white from blue.
This is working properly as the instance is abandoned on a majority vote. What the OP is describing can easily be implemented by simply allowing people leave after 15 minutes and not give them the penalty. Since we don't have that, it probably means the devs don't want it for some reason.
Think I will be queuing RTQ mostly with OP tank for the near future. Even if you get pulled into a broken demo run, requeuing should be relatively fast for tank and heals. Queuing with DPS now is either be very long or very short. If very short, it is because a broken demo run drained the DPS queue. Now you get back in the…
The quests are quick and the vast majority of the players solo them. If expediency is your top priority, then solo it. If you want to hang with friends, then a bit more work should not be an issue. I wouldn't expect devs to do extra work to make something more convenient to a few players. Also randomization makes it harder…
That coupon was from 8 months ago. After the companion rework, there may not be many coupons left. The bundle is on sale for only a week. The devs could have blocked the use of the coupon. But now that it is out there, I see no reason for them to do anything at this point about the small number of people using the coupon.…
Tried a 39k Paladin and completed day 13. It was actually fairly easy. Used zuna for companion. Pretty much stayed in the middle of the arena and spammed burning light and bane while I wait for zuna to finish off the mobs. I didn't even have to move for the little red circles because they do nothing to me most of the time.…
Day 13 and my 40K arbiter is done with this event. Got to round 4, tried a few times and couldn't get past it. You can kite the big red circle spam that is pretty relentless at time, but with few opportunities to attack, if your dps is not high enough to kill them fast, you will get overwhelmed.
I've always done this event with a Rogue because of the AOE skills. This mod my Rogue is 35k. Got to day 8 today and hit the wall that is round 4. Simply not possible with the additional and harder mobs, too squishy. So I switch to my current main, 40k Arbiter, and was able to complete the challenge. And it was not too bad…
