If by this you mean that there is no ending and therefor no "winning", you have a point. However, more broadly I'm referring to items for sale that give your character an in-game advantage. I'm sure you knew that.
My hope is that Neverwinter has taken a note from Path of Exile and made this a truly free-to-play game where the game is funded by microtransactions, but the benefits are purely cosmetic.
Creating a separate thread for this in hopes it will attract dev's notice and get some traction: I am unable to progress in the Dread Ring campaign. There are three items currently stuck at 100% complete (0:00 seconds remaining): "Study Thayan Writings", "Valindra's Tower Key", and "Forge Silver Gauntlet". I've submitted a…

I'm hitting this too and am unable to progress in the Dread Ring campaign. There are three items currently stuck at 100% complete (0:00 seconds remaining): "Study Thayan Writings", "Valindra's Tower Key", and "Forge Silver Gauntlet". I've submitted a bug report for this as ticket ID #2,207,638.
Come to think of it - with the amount of money I've spent on this game (I'm pretty sure I would be in the 5-nines percentile), I should have a direct line to Robert Hong Xiao and Jack Emmert. .
Since there's no way to send a request like this directly to PW (that I know of), I'll make the request here Please revert the rider animation back to what it was. The arm flapping thing looks really silly. I paid good money for my White Tiger and Heavy Howler mounts. Now I'm embarrassed to ride them. Fix it please!
+1 for the OP. I absolutely hate the arm flapping, a$$ slapping new animation. I've got several +3 mounts and the only one that doesn't have this hillbilly animation is the Spider.
Interesting thread. I think it would help if you started off by saying in big bold type: "The recommendations in this guide assume you will be running T2/CN with at least one and preferably two other CWs speced for group focus. This build leverages the other CWs to achieve the top Paingiver slot and depends upon game…
The Cat provides lvl 25 stats of 234 Crit 234 Recovery The Ioun Stone of Allure provides lvl 25 stats of 168 Power 168 Crit 169 Recovery So the Stone provides 37 more points overall than the Cat. The only other difference is that the Cat provides a belt slot and the Stone provides an Icon slot. The choice tends to come…
Thank you, but I was thinking more along the lines of a doc that explains things like: 1. How did you measure damage? 1a. Assuming you used combat logs from multiple epic runs, how were different damage sources accounted for? For example, Vorpal is a source of damage. Was the damage from Vorpal included in the equations?…
Can you share how you arrived at the formulas? I'm asking because I want to understand, not criticize. :) A step-by-step walkthrough would be a huge help to many of us. No need to walk through every stat. Just one would be enough.
Thank you for the time and effort you took to share your experience. Although you mention several times that all of the information in your post is public knowledge, it's very helpful to have it summarized. Do you have any data on Greater Vorpal vs. Greater LifeDrinker? That's +38% critical severity vs. +7% damage all the…
Cryptic must have updated the stats since this was posted. Here are the Rank 25 stats provided by each as of 6/23/13: Cat 235 Critical Strike 235 Recovery 470 Total Stat Points Ioun Stone of Allure 170 Power 170 Critical Strike 170 Recovery 510 Total Stat Points The Stone gives 40 more points in categories that are…
I posted this last night in response to a similar thread in the Barracks. Reposting here for greater visibility. I did some testing with my CW using 3 x 2% Tenebrous enchants with the practice dummies and loaded the Combat Log for the session with the practice dummies into Excel. Just prior to the test session, I cleared…
I did some testing with my CW using 3 x 2% Tenebrous enchants with the practice dummies and loaded the Combat Log for the session with the practice dummies into Excel. Just prior to the test session, I cleared out the existing Combat Log, so the calculations are based solely on the Combat Log output of the test session.…
I am unable to play the game the way I want because every guild run and pug I've been in has had at least one person in it that insists on taking shortcuts. Shortcuts and other exploits also undermine the economy of the game, making it far too easy to obtain BiS gear, thereby removing the sense of accomplishment. There's…
It takes you three hours to do an SP run without cheating? That's your problem right there. You need to drop back to T1 dungeons until you're geared and experienced enough to do it in 30 min without cheating.
I agree with you OP. In fact I started a thread very similar to this one. One of the arguments frequently cited by cheaters is that they cheat because they can. They don't use those words, of course, but when you boil away all of the rhetoric, that's what they're saying. I like to think of them as Lance Armstrong clones.…
*bump* This is a serious problem. I've been through nearly 20 queue cycles where the group was completely unbalanced (no healer, no tank) and/or members weren't teleported to the dungeon. It's completely broken at the moment and people are missing out on dungeon delves.
