CWs are probably considered a controller/striker, such as guardian fighters are defender/controller, clerics are leader/controller (supposedly), and GWFs is defender/striker (again, supposedly). The only straight up and down striker type class is the TR, and they have some pretty solid dazes. That said, everyone can do…
More paragon paths would be fantastic. More classes, sooner rather than later, would also be awesome. I hope with module 1 coming they add either new paragon paths or release a class with whatever content they'll add. Speaking of, has there been any other info that's come about module 1? I'd prefer solid info and not…
At 60 the gwf in pvp is the only class that I'm pretty sure I can't do anything about. I play a cw. If I'm in a 1v1 against a good gwf, they pretty much win.
On my control wizard I've been destroyed by good gwfs. Rogues, for me, can go either way. But if a GWF gets me, I'm toast; 1v1 against a GWF is a losing battle. Maybe I haven't figured out how to beat em, or maybe their cc proof abilities (sprint and hulk mode) make it impossible to keep em away from me (which I have to do…
Ice knife is awesome single target damage. I dont use push backs for the most part. And maelstrom of chaos is pretty excellent, too. Closest thing i have to a push back is shard of the endless avalance, and you can Target that pretty fluidly if its your tab skill.
http://ricardo.ishibashi.com.br/neverwinter/control_wizard_feat.html This helped me with an outline. I'm hoping it becomes more comprehensive soon. Still good work though.
makes min/maxing a little difficult at this stage. I've... had a problem with respec addiction in my mmo career. Feels good to get that out. But for serious, I'm probably going to experiment anyway. Good bye astral diamonds *sniffle*
I was going renegade, but then something hit me. With thaumaturge, I could set up storm pillar to up my damage, and it's shocks off of a full charge proc storm spell. I'm planning a hit-as-often-as-possible type of set up, and storm pillar can help with that. Powers: At-Will = Storm Pillar (i know, whats this silly kid…
The combat in this game is quick, fluid, and action oriented. Combat like that can make a really great PvP experience that hasn't been available before.
Ice storm is pretty much great in PvP. Both Oppressive Force and Arcane Singularity can be dodged/ran out of. And repel is a nigh must have on your bar in PvP. In PvE, I agree. Repel has no place, and Arcane Singularity is the beez kneez for grouping up mobs so our tanks and melee dps can go to town in a fancy coach.
