I'm not going to argue the point about Astral Seal with you, I'll just say it's hard to take you seriously when your thread title uses "Shield" instead of "Seal" (which is a constant source of amusement for some DC's like me) and your post has few remarks that are either erroneous or presumptuous. Still, lag is frustrating…
I had previous been reading about this on the wiki, regarding the artifacts once the cap increases. How it seemed to me was, nothing you own currently goes away per se. Most of the cloaks and belts have a "greater" version for example, but an orange level 60 is probably still better than a purple 70 (PC confirm?) The…
This is really strange, because when I've accidentally tried to pull items out of the mail before with a full inventory it actually gives me a message indicating it is an invalid action. The items then just sit still attached to the mail message they came with. I have never experienced what you're talking about, and…
Probably around $100 to $150 USD, depending on the exchange rates at the time. Regretting it a little bit tbh, started out by doing the same as patsfire and dropping $60 about a week after launch when it looked like I'd be enjoying the game. Then a couple purchases of $20 here and there, then one of $50 during Zen sale.…
Amazingly well done sir. I hope everyone sees your strategy for dealing with the spawns and realizes they don't need to be killing, just kiting. You really should throw this video up in the forums under the title "How to Quickly Beat Clerics" or some such.
Exactly! I wish people were more flexible. Ideally everyone would load up right away and the 5 minutes could be used to organize. Maybe 3/7/5/7/3 split for the Dragon Souls. Max of 8 total people kitted for defending Clerics, ideally 4 tanks and 4 controllers. Everyone else during that phase supports with control, taunt,…
Listen, I don't CW but I can tell you this: Once a good tank has aggro, everyone else can go wait by Black. A couple good players don't even need a tank if they can continue to kite. Unless your group is in absolute harmony with the timing of your powers and where you're all lined up, every time you kill ads more spawn.…
I was in sort of the same boat in the sense that I didn't start it until I was a ways into my 40's. I also tried to slow play my 1-60 so I could learn what I needed to learn along the way. But this game teaches you very little - you get certain things in broad strokes but you really have to dive into the out of game…
Ridiculous. I have no bones with people who bail if at least two dragon heads aren't under 20% after first pass. That means it's really not looking good. I have gone and chilled in the spawn myself after getting in some instances where they couldn't even get the one head under 20% in a pass. I get it - you wait around to…
I supported the idea in the previous thread, and still support it or something like it. Draven's point out two tiers of Tiamat is also a good point. The major problem I see is that IMHO the Devs are now making it a race to 60 or putting in artificial catch up sequences such as the volume of T2 equipment drops. As I've said…
Seems to happen upon disconnect from the server. I'm not sure why it bumps you into a different instance as opposed to reserving your spot like it does in dungeons. Possibly some kind of griefing was happening on PC so it was made unique? Possibly a bug? A friend mentioned maybe it considered my instance full upon…
Actually last night and this morning have been terrible. I can't say for sure, but it definitely seems like we're missing people after the first Heads phase. I'm guessing people are looking at the clock and figuring there's no chance and leaving. Personally I think people are quitting out way to early, but its not my time…
Depending on your powers up, and mine probably runs different (but if I remember Lazalia's build correctly), you'd probably want to hit them with a Daring Shout or Not So Fast first (to get/keep them near you), then Flourish to stun them in place, then land IBS which is a little slower to land. Flourish really helps keep…
I've seen left cleric get hit by Black and Green, middle is as you said, and right cleric is predominantly White although see the occasional Blue over there as well.
This is exactly what I was trying to say. Everyone got stuck using "must use" builds because it was the most optimal or recommended. Some of those builds for some of those classes either allow for no flexibility or discourage it to the point where people have no idea what their other abilities do. But then there are also…
I really wonder if it wasn't a mistake that it unlocked the offshoot tasks after only 1 level up. Seemed so strange, but I'm saying screw it until I have spare favors. I suppose it probably needs to be finished off completely to unlock the last boon, but I haven't even pulled the new book let alone have spares of the old…
Don't the Orbs come as legendary? Is perhaps not able to be done after an artifact has reached a certain progression point? I can definitely confirm you can use equipment artifacts to level other equipment artifacts, but maybe the normal artifacts can't even be used like that.
I also agree that campaign progression leading to more notable rewards (indicating time spent/commitment) is a great idea. So great in fact, bleedingblue, you should consider making your own post about it and not letting that good idea rot in this trainwreck of a thread.
It does not affect me either way Honestly the ways that I make AD right now, it doesn't affect me either way. Or I suppose I'm seeing a little more profit because prices of certain mats have dropped lately. I can see the arguments from both sides, but here's the thing. Eventually Tiamat will slow down and the market will…
I see. Regardless, if that is the way it indeed works then it is helpful no matter what. I agree that you can always tell when several buffs have been spread across a group of players because you just see that health melt.
I kept meaning to find an answer to this question, and here it is. Thank you! Now, about spreading the word. What do you think the odds are that anyone can get 15-20 DPS to not attack anything for several minutes? Ugh....
I run a DC which gets ridiculous scores even when I'm running a buff build over a heal build, so there's likely some weird calculations. I don't once imagine that I carried the instance, though there have been a few times when I might have saved one ;) (looking at you, people who don't use the souls on green dragon, thank…
Ugh, so much this. My guildmates and I were doing the exact same thing, discussing better tactics or other ideas I had seen on the forums but the end I realized the same thing - pointless. How are you going to manage to convince the entire room to follow your lead? They've likely seen the zerg work, that seems to be what…
