Embrace the cashgrab
This is basically the problem here. I've short manned CN with a 3 man group and our highest was only about 12k. No reason a team of 5 around 9k-10k couldn't do it. My team has managed to make easy work of it back when we ran it regularly.
Also as for the other t2 dungeons. The only reason anyone should be having any kind of hard time with them is if their team is trolling or just really, really bad. Of all the MMO's I've played, this is probably the easiest when it comes to running content.

Amen brother thats exactly whats going down now, folk wont run dungeons because of this and therefore cant hit the scores they think they should have, unless they buy the stuff the booters are placing in the auction house for AD of course.
Nah that cant be it surely?
Get over yourself and buy some T2 gear
Are you serious? How would have said people bought T2 gear before? They would likely struggle with making AD, because lets face it - if they couldn't just roll through T2's they probably don't know enough to make the most of the AD generating avenues of the game. T2 prices before were incredibly steep - now, there really isn't an excuse. But the argument stands.
The posters you were responding to were simply saying that an elitist caste within the population of the game endeavored to keep all the best loot for themselves, thereby furthering their profit, all the while keeping the population level down so as to ensure the market continued. Now the realizations of that are coming to pass. Not to say that everyone complaining about low GS were boot'n'looters, but we are all equally paying for it now.
Lastly though, learn what you can maybe do to help the situation. For now, and likely the foreseeable future, 10k GS will get in. Can your class do something to make them more effective? Never mind your own score or DPS numbers, if you want to win figure that last question out. I completely changed my builds to help compliment lower GS better mitigate enemy DR and it seemed to make a large difference in my win-loss ratio for example.
And that leads to what is actually important: Doing a good job of filling your role. My main GF is built to build large amounts of threat to control crowds and stop damage to other players (getting punched in the face the whole time), but deals very little damage, compared to even another GF of a different paragon path. And all other classes deal even more damage. For the Tiamat raid, I draw enemy off of the Cleric very easily (sometimes some from a second cleric) for a faster cleric portion, because that's my role; but I can only do so much to Tiamat.
It's all about building your character to properly role play, and follow though with your at-will, encounter and daily powers.
This is exactly what I was trying to say. Everyone got stuck using "must use" builds because it was the most optimal or recommended. Some of those builds for some of those classes either allow for no flexibility or discourage it to the point where people have no idea what their other abilities do. But then there are also the players who just flat out have bad builds, whether because they are uniformed or simply don't care enough (casuals who just want to smash HAMSTER after a stressful day at school/work). We, the rest of the lobby, need to realize this problem won't really get better.
Sure people may clue in more over time (teaching, not cussing out usually works better btw) but the builds will still be an issue. I've run a lot of lobbies with too many DC's running healing, or too many DPSers pulling too much aggro on Clerics, GF's fighting each other for aggro instead of working together, etc. DC's and GF's can buff as well. A lot of DPS classes have kiting abilities that can slow, snare, trap, etc and really help the Cleric section go fast. Take two seconds to switch powers back while running to the dragons for optimal damage and you're good.
As far as "buying T2 gear". That's really funny. Short of having a guild that gives you the sets etc, the point of having dungeons is to run them and get gear and put together better sets in T1 to be able to do T2 to do things like this. Now, how much AD do you think a new 60 has? Well I can tell you about this "super cheap gear" At best that's "super cheap" for T1. How do I know, of course I read it about the PC version and watched utuber. (just like every other expert in chat) No, seriously, from actually doing it. I hit 60 with my alt, and it's the alt, so I went and bought a full set of T1 (sadly my gf castaway stuff he can't wear and as we all know it's bound anyway even if it could) That's a mixed set (of course because it's all about gearscore as you say) of head/chest and arms/feet, as well as the main and offhand. How much, why sure very cheap, about 30KAD, not more than 2-3 days of doing things with the alt to make AD. Yes, not much more than a day's refining limit, that is pretty inexpensive comparatively. Which he has made that much doing things, but for this experiment I cheated a bit, though; epic salvage from drops and seals ftw. Also been giving him level 5 and 6 runestones and for the companions the 4+ level enchants, and of course also the lesser plaguefire.
So if a new 60 has about oh 50-60KAD yes they can gear up to T1 and fairly decent things in them. To a grand total of about 10.8K GS. Exactly what the complaint is. How does it work. DOn't know, too much spam chat about my gs at the temple I'm not sure how well I did in the first and only Tiamat raid with him, but it was the usual result of the raid. We lost. I think I was 7th. Died like twice. I think. Of course I don't remember, hey it's just the alt, and anyway, under 11K GS, what a scrub. Maybe he should run some T2 dungeons to get his GS up? Oh, right, bootnloot, not worth it, time for shores for a few KAD, oh, wait haven't unlocked that yet. Time for some dragons in whispering and rothe, be a good little cleric and do some quests.
Well anyway. How do the bootnlooter types think a new 60 has a couple hundred thousand AD to buy stuff? They've taken all of the stuff they can wear and sell, and then call the new 60 a loser who has leeched the dungeon and doesn't deserve any loot because they didn't do anything with their puny 10K in CN, kick them right away etc. Although now of course that you need their GS and DPS to beat Tiamat (since you can't go in with your epic mega guild full of 25K GS instakill rogues or whatever) you're quite happy to sell them the T2 gear you stopped them from getting? Well maybe if they went and did some farming in icespire they'd have some money to buy it from you, you are probably short on one of your three artifacts that aren't orange yet or something. Not all the enchants are perfect yet, etc.
Go buy your T2 set to run Tiamat, and we will allow you to assist us in winning every time. That'll work great, except not everyone's going to get that memo.
