  • @goatshark While I appreciate the communication and the intent of the changes, please consider that the math for "gaining" AD with dungeon runs is flawed. Each subsequent run after the first in a day costs 5k AD just to run. So those runs which provide 120-750 AD, with drop rates being that the most common gain in a…
  • I think AD being part of leadership was always a mistake and this is a correction long in the making. That said, with what is truly a reduction in the amount of AD available to the average person, a quick reduction to the costs of GMOPs, companion/mount/guild upgrading, transmuting should be made else another large exodus…
  • To whomever it is that is telling the tank to move so that mobs can't surround him/her, bear in mind mobs in this game have a higher move speed than players do. In this game, there is no real kiting or outmaneuvering mobs outside of GWF/SW turbo modes (shift).
  • Golden Belt of Puissance (for the Lostmauth set) - The damage from this set can't be ignored and the Strength is pure crit chance added. Also, Power/Crit/ArPen, ArPen not being easy to build for a DC. Greater Girdle of Strength - Once again, each point of STR is a 1% crit chance, which most Righteous Builds want to proc…
  • The problem is that most new players think PvP is deathmatch. It doesn't help that a "score" is given for every kill and that the leaderboard lists these as being significant, although your K/D doesn't win you a match. Essentially it's a bunch of players who think they should have won because they killed more pawns despite…
  • ITC is totally balanced... it's just like getting the star in any Mario game. Nigh invulnerable and full damage for the duration. It's just missing the music. LOL Edit: (Please... someone make a MI/Sab video with the Mario music every time ITC is popped.) ROFL
  • What's perfect about it? Is it the 5 min internal cooldowns on 2 of our heroic feats, the feat that gives us +1% crit chance if we can manage to have 40k power, or is it the feat that heals for a portion of our damage on a crit (but doesn't work with our most damaging spells). Or maybe it's the rank 4 encounters that do a…
  • Hehe... oops. I guess looking at your signature image should have told me you weren't the TR. It's funny what one's mind blocks when just looking for something specific. Thanks again for putting it out there.
  • @rinat114 Thanks for the vid. Based on confidence in saying that you'd make the video, I didn't doubt that you'd get through it, especially with the hp decrease on mobs. I'm curious about your gear (or the TR gear if not you), as you inspected everyone, but forgot to show what you were wearing. I'm just interested because…
  • Edit: Nevermind, I thought you didn't post your Resistance Ignored. Just caught it. It could have been the rotation he was running or weapon enchant.
  • So the HP of dungeon mobs has apparently been reduced, but it will still be a good demonstration
  • @rinat114 As you are doing this, please also show the gear that everyone is wearing so that we can be assured that all the armour sets being used are those that are presently available in-game (e.g. Alliance, Elven.... no Fabled Illyanbruen, no Diabolist, no High Prophet, no Avatar of War, no High Vizier, no Draconic…
  • @thefabricant , Although even with the new sets, most DCs will get killed in one shot, possibly 2, when archers are auto-attacking for 70k. In that design model is 40k-ish HP equivalent to 30% increased damage for ALL party members? Also considering that the iLevel is so deflated by the HP set iLevel, that the enchants are…
  • Is this a question for PvE or PvP? For PvE: Offense - since the Righteous Build really wants high crit (for Fire of the Gods) Vorpal is a good choice here. As well, since you'll find you still need to heal people, that vorpal will increase your crit heals. Defense - this is PvE, so 99% of the time the answer is Soulforged.…
  • Damage type doesn't matter in this game. All those quests were designed to be solo'd. There's likely some condition that you need to complete before being able to damage the cannisters. Like killing defending mobs or something. I do remember that quest being difficult on my first (low-geared) toons, although I can't say…
  • If the successful team is 2k because they are using legacy gear like the High Prophet set (lvl 60, t1 so probably 72 ilevel per piece) which is giving every player a 30% damage boost, that's not reflective of a REAL 2k in the current game (Blue Alliance sets). That's an artificially deflated item level as I stated in the…
  • Unless they add a metric and title for the Leader role, I think the loot tables should not be linked to a ranking metric. Show me the metric to measure buffing/debuffing....
  • PoE is more akin to a bullethell game and in the entire design of the game it was meant to be Dark Souls hard. There are no required classes, because they all have pretty balanced Damage/Mitigation/Utility depending on how you build on the map. It's not a congruent comparison. As for Astral Shield, it doesn't have a 100%…
  • Oh, thefabricant is totally right. I mean, these are all doable... yknow, if your Devoted Cleric isn't Faithful AC he's just unskilled, and if your Guardian Fighter isn't a protector, he just sucks too. Oh, the Great Weapon Fighter didn't spec detroyer? Don't they know the other 2 paths are just for decoration? And…
  • This skilless HAMSTER needs to be removed from the game. undodgeable roots so they always apply the daze. Worse yet, ppl think they are amazing when they do it. I haven't been playing my trapper in PvP for this reason.
  • Hey Strum. Here's another. [Combat (Self)] Traven Blackdagger deals 148175 (810338) Fire Damage to you with Fire Bomb. How is ANYONE without an immunity frame supposed to survive that? 80% max Damage Resistance in the game
  • Oddly, that image works for both acronym definitions of IBS, the in-game one and the IRL one. ROFL
  • Sweet! If I can duplicate this with my DC, if I respec to take Initiate of the Faith, my Crit Chance will go up a massive 1.92% too!!!! woohoo!!! LOL #worstheroicfeatsingame
  • Even with full DR (80%) working properly, hits like this would one-shot all characters apart from tanks with full HP: [Combat (Self)] Ethraniev Marrowslake deals 440868 (466796) Necrotic Damage to you with Shadowclysm. The whole one-shot mechanic of mobs in this game is ridiculous.
  • Just to clarify, are you also saying that hits such as this are WAI? [Combat (Self)] High Priestess Syndryth deals 328943 (258105) Physical Damage to you with Bite of the Spider
  • Monk existed in the 1st edition AD&D and was only missing from 2nd Edition until it was revived as a Cleric Kit. It was a melee combat class which at high levels functioned best unarmed with no armour. In Neverwinter terms, will they be refining their hands with RP? LOL
  • I can't stress enough how the damage scaling in Epic Dungeons is really ruining this game. It's tough to have any enjoyment when you cannot make a single error in a fight. Boss fights where the boss's auto-attack is doing [Combat (Self)] High Priestess Syndryth deals 328943 (258105) Physical Damage to you with Bite of the…
  • Master of the Hunt and Dread Legion are unlocked by doing the introduction quests for Sharandar and Dread Ring respectively. Those areas are now for level 70 content though, so I'm not sure how difficult those introduction quests are right now for a level 60 toon. Try them out in those zones (I think they are called Old…
  • Thank you Strum on opening this thread. I hope this kind of action continues with regular "State of Neverwinter" reports outlining what are the priorities and what is being worked on. This might alleviate the sense that some have that their concerns are not being addressed. Personally, I feel the following things require…
  • If they actually bothered to fix roots (currently even if you dodged the attack, roots still take effect) so that they would respect cc immunity frames, it's very possible that the build could be more balanced, although still annoying.
