This is the first post I've seen so far and not searched the rest of the forum yet but thought I'd let you know I'm having the same issue if that makes you feel any better :)

I fully agree with what you are saying and I did neglect to mention the usage of shard is highly situational. For example if I am running ToS and most mobs die anyway with 1 rotation I will use shard as the last part of my rotation.

Sorry for the tangent but I have a 17.2k CW and still use shard for AoE. Still great control encounter and decent dps if you know what you are doing. I have no issues out dps'ing 18-19k CWs. Just say'n :p

It should have been immediately clear that your character is spec'd for PVP w/ 38k HP. Let's compare apples to oranges next :)

The loot from the Arcane chest did not appear in my inventory after looting the chest. This happened to me twice now and I lost out on the CW orb and a ring. I actually ran CN several times this weekend with at least 2 or 3 CWs (including myself). Depending on the pull 1 would use AS and the other OF. We blew through the entire dungeon quickly. I've done at least 30 VT runs and only seen Shard of Valindra's crown drop once. edit: I forgot to mention that I've only seen CW armor drop once too and still 0 artifacts from DD chest.

Yeah Youtube. Just search for the dungeon name and there are typically many walkthrough videos. This was especially helpful to show some good spots to "bump" mobs off cliffs.
