Just wanted to comment on Roar. Like you, I wasn't sold on it early on because of the knockback, but I kept seeing people sing its praises so gave it another shot. I'll never take it off my bar now. I can start an encounter at 0 determination and 0 AP; run up, roar, determination is now half full at least. IBS a weak mob…
I've had good luck so far with recovery/armor pen/life steal. I solo almost exclusively and haven't touched endgame dungeons. I'm sitting at 10% life steal, and it is enough to get me through most fights without a potion even after my cleric inevitably stands in the bad and goes down.
That feat gives miniscule returns from what I've seen and heard. If you are concerned with HP, the one that gives a flat % of hp would seem to be clearly better.
That alone wouldn't change the fact that gold is worthless. A gold AH does nothing if there's still nothing worth spending gold on. For starters they really need to make identify and recall scrolls available for gold.
I've run into this issue a few times since the patch. I assume you're clicking on the "Choose Task" button from the Overview screen. I've found that if you instead click on the button for the specific profession to the left, that you can start it that way, and also that makes the buttons on the overview page start working…
Wind up time is too long, and it can be interrupted. If they'd either half the windup, or make you immune to CC (or at least knockback), I'd give it another shot.
I'm not even sure what qualifies as eligible, or how to identify it. Does one of the icons you see when looking at the Foundry list indicate eligibility? Maybe I'm slow on the uptake, but they don't explain it well to new players. I've gotten lucky so far and just randomly picked ones that counted.
Yes and no. Sure, they SAY it's beta, yet they also say no more character wipes and they are selling items in the shop. I can say I'm the king of England, doesn't make it true. Not trying to be contrary with you, just hate hearing that excuse so much of late. This whole notion of a "soft launch" is something that the…
Sure, but ultimately you're better off getting to the higher levels faster. 200 AD is nothing in the long run. The faster you level, the faster you open up more profession slots, and the faster you get to the better tasks.
