Except they're once again subject to the role requirements, which many guild groups do not meet. (Either bringing 2 buff classes for hard content, or 5 DPS for easy content). Concerns aside, I have one question: Will temptation warlocks finally be able to queue as a support role, or will they remain second-class-citizens…

If you get the support 'for free' because you were going to cast that spell anyway, then how is it a drawback? Isn't it better for the group as a whole to be doing more total damage?
Warlock is a Striker/Leader class. They are supposed to deal damage while also supporting their allies. What you 'get in return' for buffing your allies is that your group as a whole does more damage, so you kill the boss, clear the dungeon, faster than you would if the warlock was just another DD. The problem is that buff…

Allow to me suggest a simpler solution: Increase player HP. The root cause of the problem is that power and damage scales up more than player HP. As a player gains gear, Lifesteal is capable of replenishing their entire health bar in a shorter amount of time. Eventually we get to the point where we are now: Because a…
I agree, but for a different reason. DPS have clear and obvious feedback on the paingiver chart. It's not perfect, but it provides a rough ranking on performance: This other player did 10% more damage than you over the course of a dungeon, maybe you need to work a bit harder. Tanks also have clear feedback: If you sure,…
I think that on the whole, loadouts will be a positive quality of life change, comparable to similar features in other MMOs. My one concern is what role you will be considered for grouping: Any role you have a loadout for? Only the role you are in when you click 'Queue'? The role you are in the moment the queue 'pops'? One…
