I love it. Now that you've fleeced your loyal, early adopter fanbase you reduce the prices for everyone else. I don't suppose you're willing to give rewards for your loyal customers, similar to Nintendo's ambassador program? I haven't actually spent any money on the zen store so it's not just that I'm angry about…
You have to allow small numbers of players simply so friends can group up. Just make it so up to 5 players can group up and any more need to do a full premade vs premade. You could increase that number if the game modes are bigger than 15v15. Also, re: Magic Missile - I imagine it's also to do with endlessly kiting melee…
"You first." "No, you first." "No really, it's fine." "I couldn't possibly do that to you, I insist you go first" "Ok, here I g- are you sure you don't want to go first?" "...."
Drizzt, Bruenor, Elminster, and Artemis Entreri. I'm not sure if it invalidates my answer but I'd also be tempted by Imoen, Viconia - hell, just about anyone from the BG games :D
I actually think Half Orcs are one of the best, if not the best. Dext and Str both have +2 bonuses and they look to be the highest damage stats you have. Str gives a flat damage bonus, Char gives a Combat Advantage damage bonus - it's the same amount, so it's obviously better to have that damage bonus active all the time.…
Not necessarily no, your handle might not match your forum name. I wondered the same thing and have confirmed via support that mine is different to my forum name. I seem to recall it was different on the launcher too.
That's true, but you don't need numbers to be reaching the thousands to balance them effectively. I think Blizzard regret the insane amounts of number inflation they've got. A level 60 has several thousand health. a level 90 has several hundred thousand, maybe half a million. You need to think long term really and if it's…
Not sure if this has already been asked (I didn't want to read the thread since it went into great detail about the encounters etc and if I do play the campaign I'd rather save that :D) but how long roughly have you spent on the campaign so far? Can you it down a bit, e.g. time taken for each encounter/zone etc?
I remember Andy Velasquez saying to TotalBiscuit that if you told him a year ago that Neverwinter would launch with only 5 classes he'd curl into a ball in the corner and cry, so he definitely wouldn't be happy launching with 4. Ultimately though it's down to whether the Wizard is ready or not.
I find it ironic that the group of people acting the most entitled are the Hero of the North owners. For some reason they think that "investing" money now means they're ENTITLED to freebies and exclusive content that wasn't included in the original purchase. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the decision really as I wasn't…
No, you didn't pay $200 for drow exclusivity, you paid $200 for a drow BACKGROUND TRAIT and some cosmetic stuff associated with it. That's it. Don't assume that just because you've spent money you're entitled to lots of other things that weren't part of the original agreement. You bought X. Don't demand Y as well just…
Just in case anyone hasn't seen it, TotalBiscuit has a decent video up where he runs through the first instance with a couple of Cryptic Devs (one of which was Andy Velasquez, Lead Designer) and they discuss dungeon difficulty a bit. It certainly sounds like Cryptic want it to be hard, but it's going to be a gradual…
Hi all, I'd love a beta key for a couple of reasons. Firstly, as awesome as the game looks I'm not in a position to take a gamble on $60 at the moment so it would be a great way to try it out first. Secondly, I'm really hoping that down the line the foundry is available to beta test because I plan on making campaigns (and…
I'd also like to see the option to have friends test it before you officially release it. Perhaps the ability to individually add player names for testing, then when you click send it appears under a new tab on his foundry/welcome screen as a campaign to test (with a legal thing saying Cryptic haven't checked the campaign…
I'd like to see the ability for multiple people to contribute and edit a single foundry campaign/map/whatever. I'm not sure how you'd go about doing it, but I'd love to create a ridiculously epic campaign with the help of all my friends where everyone can edit maps, dialogue etc. Perhaps with an editor (or dm?) who has to…
I imagine Archer will be the next one followed by the Scourge Warlock. After that I'd personally love to see a Druid and a Swordmage sounds cool. Are Druids able to "tank" in 4e?
