This change doesn't actually matter since they made the ability infinitely easier to land. In fact, you have to go out of your way to miss with it in the first place now.
He said WM, as in Weapon Master passive. The Sentinel feat that lets this grant 15% deflect (3% per stack) as well as a bonus 5 AC takes this passive from fantastic to godlike. Steel Grace is worthless when we can break CC with unstoppable.
For what its worth the set bonus is great in pvp, especially combined with the Unstoppable Recovery. I wouldn't trade the healing in for any of the pve set bonuses. But I'm strictly referring to pvp. It's a known bug, happens when you get dismounted while trying to use an ability. Most often leads to 2 min cooldowns on whatever ability you were spamming, and sometimes puts EVERYTHING on a 2 min cooldown. Another random, non-sensible bug amongst the many.
My number crunching has lead to different results. I've found that I do indeed get the 9% from toughness, though this seems to only apply to base HP and not any gained from items. I've found Constitution Focus to be horrible, as it does indeed increase the +% HP gained from CON by 15%, which for me was an atrocious +1.5%…
The feat takes 50% of the healing received from Restoring strike and applies it over 3 seconds after the upfront heal. If the strike restored say 1000 HP, you would then also receive an additional 500 healing over 3 seconds.
This sounds like a personal problem. Run with people you know in real life, or find an accepting guild and prove to them you are competent enough to run the end game content.
Was laughing at the delivery, not at the validity. Also I don't have a daze, as I play a GWF. And yes, as long as rogues don't have shocking execution up they are free kills :)
Do you not know how to dash cancel your at wills? You can nearly double your at will damage with proper technique, for little to no stamina. Also, I don't get the point of your post? You're complaining about tactics and technique's that work, because the playstyle isn't what you want? Play a different class buddy.
This is actually wrong. The team with 3 rogues is weaker, and hard countered by the two fighters. Both GF's and GWF's can kill rogue's in a full stunlock. Team B wins more often, but this can go either way depending on the players.
As far as PvP goes, as a GWF I pretty much smash everything in sight and have tons of success. We are by far the fastest and most mobile class, with a devestating stunlock rotation that will beat everyone but a well geared guardian 1v1. Just don't get too frustrated when you get 100%-0 from one shocking execution.
Do not spec this. Just use the Bravery passive and all you're mobility issues will go away. Add 3 movement enchantments in your utility slots and you are swift as the wind. Once I realized how good the bravery passive was all of my problems sticking to targets disappeared. I'm also able to escape almost any situation now…
As a fully geared GWF I have definitely been one-shot by this ability (shocking execution). At full health it has crit me for 24k+ multiple times, and I only have 23k hp.
