I'm sure I'll stick around for awhile. I'm having fun so far, and I can control how much I spend on it easier than I can a $15/month game. Whether I stick around long-term will depend on how quickly they add new content and whether that new content is any good. Leveling new characters is going to get REAL old if they don't…
Somewhat because of negative stigma, but also as a marketing tool. Having their own in-game currency that's traded for real-world currency helps to divorce the player a little more from how much they're spending. You don't think about it as much when you're spending 4000 ZEN for a pretend bear as when you're spending $40.…
$5 so far, spent on 4 nightmare lockbox keys. I'm considering spending some on one of the faster mounts, but they're a bit too pricey as it stands now.
I'll put in a couple suggestions myself. 1. Please fix the problem with the path leading to your next objective. Half the time it doesn't work. Either it's missing completely or it leads to the wrong place. 2. Please PLEASE let us turn off the **** messages about the nightmares. Or at the very least quit popping them up on…
I'd prefer they didn't do a wipe, but as long as my ZEN were refunded, I wouldn't be too angry about it. I suspect that's why they won't do a wipe though, because they would have to refund everyone's ZEN or risk pissing off the entire community and the possibility of lawsuits, and that would be way too much of a hassle.
That seems to be an assumption with no evidence to support it. I've played MMOs for years now, but they've all been games that don't use the need/greed system and just hand out loot randomly. And it works perfectly fine as long as players are able to trade in some manner. So yes, I'm perfectly happy just clicking need on…
I don't really get what the big deal is. Just let everyone roll need on everything all the time, and loot will be distributed randomly. The auction house will take care of the rest. That's worked fine in plenty of other games. Or take it a step further and remove the need/greed/pass menu altogether, and hand it out to a…
Yep, I'm having the same problem right now. I've been stuck on the same screen for about 5 minutes. Which is weird because the game was working fine this morning.
I don't know. My experience is pretty limited so far (my highest level character is only 14), but it seems like the majority of experience comes from completing quests. I barely get anything from killing monsters. If there is a difference between XP on a team and XP solo, it isn't noticeable.
