  • Muting is based on a certain number of people either reporting you for spam or flagging you on ignore. It's possible you were spamming LFG a little to often and people took offense to it, it's possible you were inadvertently flagged because your name was in the middle of some RMT spam, or it's possible that several people…
  • The vast majority of F2P games now follow the 'open beta' model. Where they declare an 'open beta' so they can generate revenue through their cash shop and work on bug fixes. Most of them consider 'open beta' to be a soft launch and so no character wipes will occur because people are spending real money in the cash shop.…
  • It made people feel special then the issue got shoved under the table again.... I'm just glad to see how well the economy is doing now that the issues are fixed!
  • I never had an experience remotely as bad as this with Blizzard. In fact I've never had an experience remotely as bad with any MMO, even previous PWE titles I've played. Granted I haven't played WoW in many years so maybe things got worse since I did.
  • Not anymore. I've played PWE games in the past, so the slow/poor customer support was expected. It has never been this bad however, at least in the games I played previously. At least I followed the instructions and opened up a new support ticket, this new one just happens to be to Billing for a refund.
  • Check with your actual credit card company. Master Card and Visa both require you at make an attempt to resolve it with the merchant before you initiate chargeback with them. Support website appears to be up now, since I received a response to a ticket I opened 19 days ago and was able to put in a support ticket for a…
  • 19 days after I submitted my ticket and updating it on missing items from my Guardian Pack purchase. Today I received a response to open a NEW ticket on the issue if it was still a problem and that I would not receive reimbursement for missing digital items. So I paid $59.99 USD for a digital item pack for all of the…
  • I really wanted to support this game. I think some of the elements were wonderful, the combat was fun, the foundry content was exciting to see. Yet, the fact I submitted a ticket on the 1st of May on my missing Guardian Pack items, updated it and did not hear anything until today the 20th is a bit ridiculous. What is more…
  • I've never noticed any hitbox six difference in PvP personally. At least not one that mattered enough to be a race other than Human or Tiefling. Smart Targeting kind of negates the hitbox issue anyhow, as the targeting reticle doesn't even have to be directly on a person in most cases. Some people turn off smart targeting…
  • Not sure how you missed this thread because it's still on the first page, but here is what I believe you are looking for. http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?244122-The-Power-of-Chilling-The-Oppressor-Control-Wizard
  • I have purposely been leveling an Oppressor CW alt to test out the viability of the spec. Thanks gnesi for posting your build and stats layout, it's nice to know that the spec seems viable as a control build. When it comes to end game comparison, I'll have to wait and see how the two builds seem to fair in my group. I like…
  • Again you missed the point. It is not GM messages that most people are talking about. It is [ADMIN] messages and things like automated auction house messages.
  • You missed the point of this thread. No one is complaining about people speaking foreign languages. It is the fact when they are regionally set for English Admin messages will appear in a foreign language, such as Deutsch. Unless you are actually fluent in that language you may have no idea what the Admin message is trying…
  • There was a PW dev response in another thread (I believe the bug compilation one) where it was explained that it only works for certain skills, just as the AoE talents only affect specific skills. Edit: Found it in the bug compilation thread. Page 5, Post #45. They identify it does work, but only for specific spells. Which…
  • About half of our AoE skills don't actually benefit from the AoE dmg buffs.
  • Renegade Spec with a mix of Opressor. - Wolf/Cleric (Depends how lazy I feel about dodging) PvE: TAB - Sudden Storm/Repel, Chill Strike, Conduit of Ice, Repel/Sudden Storm Admittedly Chill Strike may be a better tab skill, especially in dungeons. While soloing however, I found the AoE Sudden Storm mows down enemies,…
  • If we're talking about games across the MMO gener, then Rangers/Archers. The vast majority of games have made them either way to pet centric and ineffective, or ridiculously overpowered when it comes to single target dps. In most cases they get nerfed into the ground since they are a ranged physical class. It's not that…
  • I can't just pick one. - Druid - Bard - Warlock
  • I would definitely like to see this implemented. Of course having the tomes available would also be nice.

  • You brought up some good points but these ones have sort of already been addressed. You can LFG in the social tab, and in most zones the chat never seems to be so fast that I can't see LFG messages. There is a custom trade channel. Global Chat - no please. You think Zone chat is spammy and you want a Global chat? On the…
  • Sorry, i don't speak Spanish but your English was actually pretty good. ^^ I'm not sure what you are trying to spend money on, except perhaps for Zen? Here in the U.S. we have Paypal, Skrill, and Google marketplace as options. If you have the Google option and make a Google account you could use that method.
  • 2 of my friends have the same issue. They've tried every setting they can think of, and are fairly familiar with gaming PC settings. The only thing that seemed to work was unplugging the speakers.
  • The stat parameters seem to be working just fine, as are the class ones. At least for everything I have searched for. However, the lower level one is not, and as you level up it definitely gets more annoying searching for gear. Also, the fact that any item you put into the search window stays there even after the AH closes…
  • NW is different in the way many dungeon encounters are structured, than a lot of other MMOs. In most cases there isn't a 1 Boss, focus it down. Maybe off tank an add, etc. GF don't have the same level of threat control that most tanks in other games do. Also, due to the nature of healing in this game. If adds are on your…

  • 1. Lower cash shop prices 2. Introduction of more classic NW classes. 3. Better resource introduction for certain things. Some of their introduction and newbie messages are really helpful. Then again there are complete gaps for things like where to turn an Idol the first time you get one from a lock box, or how to…
  • The biggest issue here is not necessarily that some people are not getting their founder items. It is the fact that customer service takes so long to respond and in some cases keeps giving people the run around. I have had a ticket regarding my founder pack in for over a week, with no response, no email, even though I've…
  • I admittedly have spent money on the cash shop. I bought a couple of character slots, some keys, and 2 bags. However, I have to admit the cash shop prices to me are fairly high for many things, especially items that are bound to a single character. If bag prices were about half of what they are now, I would probably outfit…
  • I've opened 20 boxes so far and not gotten any purples/mounts. I'm sitting on about 90+. However, I have gotten about half of them with Idol's, so turning those in for 40K AD actually is pretty worthwhile. If you keep track of AH key prices and the AD/Zen market you don't really have to spend real money at all to be able…
  • There is a Zen/AD exchange along the small top menu. I believe it is the third from the left, but I'm not exactly sure. It has the little z icon as opposed to the big Z for the Zen cash shop.
  • I really think the ability to place nodes would be nice. Especially to add atmosphere and reward to longer encounters, or as you said ones based on puzzles or skill rather than just hack and slash. That being said I can see why they did not, as the potential for abuse is pretty huge. What might work is to limit the number…
