I have never accepted blind invites, nor will I ever. How can I know what you are wanting to do? Probably it's the total opposite of what I'm going to do now. I have experiences both: I killed the mobs, no elves there. Later I was informed by the system that the HE was successful. I take it someone else rescued the elves as soon as they came along. Agreed. Elemental Evil then Sharandar then Dread Ring. And don't hesitate to call for help when doing the bosses. In all these zones everybody is very helpful. Even if you can solo the boss dungeons, it's much easier and faster in a two man (or even bigger) group.

Deleted and reinstalled. It's 14.123 GB btw. Be sure not to use the internet in other ways. Playing another mmo for instance severely degraded the download speed in my case. Like ten times. I can log in and play now again. So yes, in my case the delete+redownload procedure worked.
