This happens anytime you have the window up while zoning usually; only a full client exit and restart will fix it and even then it's not always guaranteed; simply relogging won't work.
I did this **** from day 1 on my char cuz noone hardly ever uses the upper paths; usually by the time I get to Cap 1 I hide near the rocks so they don't see me then go up and steal the cap from them while they're all busy fighting over cap 2. Simple strategic common sense that's sadly rarer than it should be lol
Absolutely nothing! :D I happened to log off the night before less than 20mins before the 5:20am time they rolled back to, and when I logged on at the time it was back up, I still had 5hrs left to save my Celestial Coins(I was on my 7th, too, so lucky me) That said, I feel for anyone who did during those 7 hours who did so…
Let this be a lesson to you folks that spam the same bloody msg over and over...think about it. You spam. The other guys spam because your spam spammed their spam off the screen. Which then makes you spam too. Then everyone else spams. Spamception. If you'd have any bloody courtesy and self-control, and everyone else did…
They probably did. Problem is companies like PWE and Bioware/EA don't listen. Same thing happened in SWTOR, some major **** was reported but it was ignored and pushed to launch anyways because of deadlines. Deadlines are ruining Firefall atm too, they're making bad decisions left and right and ignoring all feedback given…
This is -exactly- why I abandoned my GF and don't like the GWF gameplay. Even without the lag the lack of a dodge on the tank is HAMSTER, and this is one of the few times a GF is actually -useful- in a dungeon, keeping the Dragon pulled against a wall and turned towards it so the rest of the…
On my Wizard, we had little issue beating the Mad Dragon, though we wiped the first try on all 3 runs we did. All pugs from the queue. On my Cleric, of 3 attempts before outlvling it, and with a smart Rogue I've played together with for years protecting me from the adds, and despite trying 3-4 times each run, we wiped…
Honestly I couldn't give two ****s about the price if we at LEAST got 1 free respect at either lv30 or 60 once we're (hopefully) not clueless as to what we're doing with the build. I'm approaching 60 on my Wizard and I would -kill- for a respec, both in powers and Feats. You CAN respec Feats for AD only but the cost at 54…
Spoilers: This is affecting PWE entirely, STO too, so you can't just use the lazy(and usually unrelated) "it's a beta" excuse ;) Wipe the brown off your nose, even though in this particular case it really isn't directly PWE's fault either
How about instead of adding new **** to the market you fix Foundry Exp on legit missions before the ones who do spend money and enjoy lvling on UGC quit and take their Disposable Income with them?
Wrong, wrong, and wrong. City of Heroes -started- the Foundry thing and it had a ton of Exp Farming maps; people did those just as much as the dev-provided content until the very end when it shut down. If anything it keeps people around who like to make alts but don't wanna do the same dang story quests(besides the…
Not what I intended to bring across at all, no. I'm saying no matter what Cryptic or PWE does, this will continue. People will find a way around any roadblock they put up. The only people being hurt are those who DO enjoy the legitimate content created in the Foundry. This guy pretty much sums up the same thing but more…
No, it's more akin to taking a backroads shortcut to get from Point A to Point B and then asking where the nearest Pizza place is. You took the backroad, missed out on the shops along the main highway, and risked getting molested by Hillbillies, but that's their choice. It is a holier-than-thou attitude by definition, and…
Not necessarily; what if someone levelled exclusively on GOOD, legitimate Foundry quests and still missed out? Just a What-if, the world ain't so black and white ;p
Ah, sorry then, I assumed(since he did skip content he might not know the difference lol), but you know what they say about assuming, and I pretty much just did make an *** of myself haha; as I said I only just hit 30 and haven't done that zone yet so I've yet to learn =) Thanks either way to both of ya that corrected me
A) Cloak Tower is lv16. And it's Cloak, not Clock, that's not a typo or poorly-translated engrish. Have to read the Neverwinter backstory to know what it means. But yeah the Bag doesn't drop in the dungeon. B) It's a lv30ish questline in whatever area you quest at then, at the end of the mission. Friend of mine got it last…
I'm gonna have to play Devil's Advocate in this thread...this is a Cryptic game. You guys might have heard of another game, the one where the "Foundry" was originally created: City of Heroes & the Foundry's ancestor, the "Mission Architect". CoH is a very, VERY old game, as is the Architect feature. Now, in CoH, many maps…
First problem: What YOU don't like. I don't like Rogues, doesn't mean they're not entitled to play the Flavor of the Month/"LOLIMANINJA" class. Spoilers, Timmy: Alot of us Multiboxers DO play Solo characters too. After we get bored of playing solo, or vice versa bored of Boxing, we swap to the other and play that. As I…
That still doesn't change the fact that it's an unintuitive, too-easily-lost system. Change it to a timed debuff and bam, that problem solved for the most part. Taking HP dmg is inevitable and it still encourages teaching new Tanks improper tactics.
Now this, I disagree with...the few other games that have companions like SWTOR generally remove them from instances and I think NW would lose something rather than gain from this change. They should however follow Wow/swtor's way of making them like Pets, where you can turn off auto-casting of spells like Taunts. Plus,…
You two Mods on the front page disgust me for being Biased in a (albeit volunteer I assume) Staff position. Good on Ol' Zeb for showing a little understanding of the difference between Bots and Boxing. Long story short: Boxing requires keypresses and an active human inputting controls to the played characters. -Nothing- is…
This guy gets it and the last paragraph in particular sums up my feelings as a GF Tank. Same as the guy earlier in the thread, I tend to be the Tank in alot of games because I like the control and as a wise man once said, "If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself" - With that said...I echo the…
