I hate ninja looters, and support the idea of adding countermeasures against them. I think the best countermeasure is to grey out the need roll button for everyone who can't use the item, and the bind-on-need should do pretty well to fix the problem for things anyone can use.
I'll just say it straight: CW is made for control, even so, the duration of their stuns is 1/3 in pvp compared to what it is in pve..... Already nerfed enough TR, as the name suggests, is a squishy character who must kill quickly not to be killed.... Though i admit it's no easy task, but it can be done. I've done it, both…
I don't care how much false publicity EA makes, I don't want any of their games other than DA3, which i need to know what happend after DA2..... After that, i'll probably never ever buy a game made by EA or it's partners again...
1. Is something i don't know, another will answer it i am sure.... 2. Tell me of one game that currently measures only killing blows..... not even wow does that.... 3. Didn't play enough to know that. Another person can answer it though...
I am not against raids, but I am in fact against the effects it brings to PvP: A pvp stat, like resilience, just makes pvp a horrible experience for un-geared alts and new players alike...... And remind me what was the fix Blizzard applied to raid gear being better than pvp gear???? Yes, it was resilience..... So either…
If there were good enough foundry missions on bw3, i doubt 1 week will be enough to complete them all.... Now with that said.... I've heard, though i am not sure, there will be no raiding and i hope there never is. Raiding made wow what it is... Even wow players admit wow is ruined ever since BC, and the only reason they…
You do like to bring this discussion up, don't you, OP? Depends on how pvp gear progression goes..... WoW's pvp was a failure imo, even if people did like it, just because I couldn't switch to pvp from pve without having to get killed in every 1v1 I had until full of the best pvp gear..... Which I never got because of…
As far as experience tells me, PvP servers are the worst that could happen to alts and new players alike, with people ganking people for the sake of upsetting them. Have you even read my posts in this same thread about having separate abilities for PvP and PvE???? GW1 did it. GW2 is starting to do it. NWO already does it…
I think you haven't played GW1 in all that time, and that is fine, but the system it had for avoiding that issue was very good imho. Just making copies of every pve ability on pvp and not to modify both, but just one. A good example is the warrior ability "For Great Justice!" in that game, in pve, it doubled the amount of…
Don't you remember what happened to D3 when they didn't add pvp at first? Btw, i think the best way to get a healthy playerbase is to fix the mistakes other games have. Examples: D3 not having pvp at first, GW2 having pvp completely separated from pve yet with the same balancing, Many MMOs (swtor, wow, others) not having a…
In fact, gw2 didn't, it was gw1 that did so, and let's admit, 5 million playerbase isn't any small number. In fact, changes like that can be done in a major patch, which is perfectly possible within the first one.
IMHO PvP is something that attracts me to this game at the same level as PvE, which is to say: 50% for each. Now on the constructive department, i think what made wow's pvp not to attract me was the simple lack of a way for PvErs to switch to PvP, for which i stayed at low level pvp with my alts. I think the fix to that…
