Possibly related: I ran the "not yet daily" version of CoW in a party of two (sorry, forgot the quest name) and after finishing it i could not turn it in (quest NPC gave the option to start the quest again only). Yet my partner could turn it in. I repeated it solo and it worked. Also, it seemed strange that both the daily…
In my opinion a day of VIP time is a bad idea for compensation, because players on VIP would be (rightfully) compensated for services not granted to them, while non-VIPs would receive a gift. I would suggest a 1 day extension for VIPs and a general "sorry about it" for everyone in the form of say 200 Zen or something like…
Cryptics sister game Star Trek Online got almost the same lag problems as Neverwinter. We tried to analyze those years ago, and i think the theory is still sound. I'll try to explain this computer nerdy stuff in an unnerdy way... Imagine driving a car on an empty street on your way to "Cryptic City" (the Neverwinter…
This shouldn't have been hard to figure out given the little arrows that connect everything and the fact that if you click on the campaign tasks it tells you what its prerequisites are. Reading is FUNdamental! AFTERWARDS everyone is the smart guy, right?
Sorry about the delay, my Internet went *POOF* for a few days... One, answer from support. In short, i might have done some quests in the wrong order which made progress in the Campaign impossible. Even shorter, they told me bad luck, deal with it. Nice. Second, i sorted it out by completing all 3 objectives in the bottom…
Ah no, didn't know about the campaign lockdown (not only is the toon in question quite noobish, but this applies to his mouseholder also). Guess it is time to call Support now about this spaghetti bowl of wrenches... Thank you everybody for trying to clean up this mess, i'll update this thread should i learn anything from…
Thanks for telling me how "common cause" can be messed up. Makes sense. I guess in my case it got out of sync when the level 70 quest was mixed into it (f.e. "ghost story"). That would also explain why it autocorrected itself today. So - back to the main problem, "Tyranny of Dragon" unlocking. frogwalloper, "Well of…
No joy - completing "common cause" did not help in unlocking the Dragon Campaign. Guess i'll wait for the next daily quest reset to check on all relevant NPCs again.
I know that "common cause", as it is a daily, is not (or only weakly) connected to zone progression. The fact that i can't complete it due to a missing quest might be connected to my problem, that's why i mentioned it. But that might have autocorrected itself, "ghost stories" just popped up to be taken a few minutes ago.…
