They made things a lot harder on themselves by making every weapon class specific and therefore needing to do full itemization for every class including artwork. I've only done a little 4th edition PnP but in older versions of DND and other games you just had longswords, maces, two handed swords etc. which could be used by…
Adding them to the seal vendor as well is a great idea, but we still need a permanent reason for glory. As it it once I got my pvp set and artifact I only do the daily, and the new weekly from lord neverember, and many days I dont even do the daily anymore and just do the weekly when it pops for 8k+4k daily RAD.
The point of the thread is that new players are going into these dungeons with 9k or lower GS through the queue, expecting to be able to do them, and failing. Try queuing for just about any dungeon and 9/10 you will get a half finished or borked instance with 2-3 people in it. The simple solution is raise the GS…
Highly skilled players with bad gear are the exception and not the rule, and normally are on an alt that has done the dungeon many times, not a fresh player joining solo queue.
It annoys me too. I will admit I sold the greater barkshield on my main and got a regular soulforged, but that was because I felt that I had to in order to remain competitive in pvp.
The GS requirement to join through the queue is below 9k, I cant remember if its 8300 or 8600. Pugs join and expect to be able to do it with that because its the requirement. I agree 12k is more correct, requirement should be bumped to 10k+ to join solo queue. For people who want to form a premade and queue as a team if…
I agree, maybe a small cost in gold to convert from character bound to account bound to add another use for gold, and to stop people from just farming them on their 16k main and handing out the items to alts. I'm totally in favor of account bound with no restrictions but Cryptic/PWE doesn't seem to like giving things away…
I'm not sure about the mage but while we have a thread going about broken companion buffs...the sword from the pvp vendor also appears to be broken. The tooltip says it gives a buff but when you make the companion active and mouse over the hand buff icon on your character it is not included in the list. I assume this is…
I was definitely in a hurry last night and can't login right now, so I wont contest that. I definitely got two epic marks, one from the introductory dread ring quest and one from the daily that popped right after. If they are the ones that give XP for artifacts and not the refining reagents its a bummer but still a pretty…
I got two epic marks of potency (the ones that cost 100k on the astral diamond store/wondrous bazaar ) from doing dread ring daily yesterday. According to the tooltip you can get that every Sunday and one other day, since Dragon is down right down and I am just learning dread ring I can't log in to look exactly what day is…
On my TR I often make the #1-2 spot in score even when my team fails, as noted points are awarded for kills, defending points, and capturing points and the scoreboard is not tied to winning. Aka If you capture a point you get 300 points and if you make a kill you get 50 points, but that's a separate score from the team…
Thanks for the response. Sounds like I will need to find and active guild that will take me before giving up my solo guild and the millions of AD I spent unlocking bank slots :)
I have been playing clerics in mmo's for years and the DC in this game is far and above the worst pvp healer I have come across in any game. Having to spec a specific race and one build in a game that charges for respec is no good. I have basically put my DC into hybernation until if/when cryptic ever fixes its. When I…
Bump to this one too. I purchased the $20 cleric companion at release and gave it my fiance, who turned out to not like it as its not a healer at all. We want to be able to sell, trade, or give it to someone else. It was a learning experience but Cryptic isn't getting another cent from us until this is fixed.
Just logged into my alchemist and it appears in-game i can start doing all alchemy tasks from in-game. I had filled all my slots hiring leadership resources so I wont know if kicking off a task in game will fix the gateway issues until those complete.
My main issue with ptt is that it doesnt work while inside any kind of menu such as crafting window, inventory, pretty much anything. so when questing with my friends we end up turning ptt off, but when I queue for pugs I have to remember to turn it on or everyone gets to listen to me pound at the keyboard or even better…
bump. Patch notes said this was fixed but when I hit rank 17 alchemist half of my skills dissapears. I can no longer experiment, level, or make aqua regia items.
I bought the $200 founders and don't regret it a bit. I have already gotten hours of entertainment can invite my friends to play a game with me for free, which they have. The gateway feature is also the best thing for a busy gamer, i can be off at work or a hotel and still craft. If you don't have money to burn then just…
One more thing for the wish list. Option to turn off xp. I'm trying to keep my characters same level as small family group but even just invoking and doing pvp dailies its a challenge.
