Cantankerous Mage's bonus broken?

Anyone have this companion and getting the active companion bonus? Just spent 850k ad for it and its not working.

    I'm not sure about the mage but while we have a thread going about broken companion buffs...the sword from the pvp vendor also appears to be broken. The tooltip says it gives a buff but when you make the companion active and mouse over the hand buff icon on your character it is not included in the list.

    I assume this is the same issue with the Cantankerous Mage?

    On you character? Jagged blade active bonus affects the companion, no the player -__-
