  • I was kinda hoping for more known characters from the realms that should be still alive like Alias and Dragonbait.
  • Darn, no Tenser's Floating Disc? Color me disappointed, as I've been trying to get one for a while now, and the ones in the AH are way expensive.
  • The same as in every Medieval Fantasy game I've played, whether it be tabletop, mobile or console, Dika Wolf (usually as a thief if available). The only time I didn't use that name in a Medieval RPG was in EverQuest. Someone else was using it pretending to be me, and caused a big ruckus too when she posted a suicide note.…
  • I did, I played a thief with the same character name I use now. I ended up running a bill of over $200 one month because of it (it was a lot of money to me back then). I joined on because people I knew on AOL played it a lot and it was my way of being around them in a way. Back then people who frequent certain AOL forums…
  • This is because NWO runs in administrator mode. To get Xpadder to work on it, you have to run NWO until you're in game, then instead of just launching Xpadder, right click the icon and select Run as administrator.
  • If it wasn't allowed, why is there a sticky on how to implement such controllers on the forum http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?51581-gt-Microsoft-XBOX-Controller-for-Windows-Configuation-lt. Xpadder is my goto now for every MMO I play (even when they do have controller support like CO), map along with…
  • You're thinking client side though. As far as I can tell the server relays data to the client to visually/audibly represent it. The client only sends to the server the user inputs in which the server processes to send a command back to the client a command to trigger and animation, change in position, what graphic to…
  • This first chapter introduces the carnival along with the outcasts and lost souls which find solace here. Followed by, the first of a collection of storylines suggested in the accessory: The Night People. The features included thus far: 1. A functional Circus/Carnival for RP purposes. [Note: I really wanted to see a…
  • Fix background music on outdoor maps. Add conditionals to patrolling npcs (including disappear when patrol complete). Add all existing emotes and fashion clothing to lists.
  • Sounds like those foundries used a monster stance for the twitching. I believe the stances for the foulspawns twitch and flail their arms like you describe.
  • I'd really like the fire breathing emote done by the jesters during the spring event for some npcs. Also, many of the emotes that players can do appear to be missing in the foundry list.
  • Yay! Looks like this resolved the problem of NPCs not following in the Foundry as well, and enemies not attacking. The fix is not 100% (there's still some places they won't follow though no obstruction is present between the PC and NPC and there's a small lag time before they see the player again if he/she returns to…
  • Nothing, it's the same encounters since before the patch (when they last worked). 3 different NPCs at different locations/situations with follows and all stop after walking 20'. None of them have anything preventing them from following. I noticed encounters past 20' also don't attack when they used to. Maybe their vision…
  • I noticed a new bug after the latest patch. My NPCs set to follow stop doing so after moving about 20' in the 3D editor (haven't tried publishing it to see if it happens live). This didn't occur before the v11195 release, so I submitted a bug report. Is this happening to anyone else? Anyone know a work around?
  • What I'd really appreciate is if they listed which effects are looping and which effects are fire once. That would be most helpful.
