  • The adds do damage, at least the first 2 have the regular frost breath that hits you for 2.5k. Than you have the main mob that will hit you for 2.5-3k White damage (on a GWF) plus that huge AOE for 5-8k.   • Fast ? Somehow my definition for fast, for a feature they say the game is designed around, is something different. The problem will remain that the companions have zero AI and i doubt they will be any cheaper than the ZEN store ones at all, so not really much gained for a lot of cash.

  • The tomes will be around the same price as the companions, they won't create any competition for the ZEN market. It is really sad that something they themselves say is necessary isn't even in at launch and will be another money grab when it comes out.
  • But "open betas" haven't been real testing for a long time now. It is a "soft launch" that they call beta, so if they missed any major bugs/exploits they have an easy way out. The testing these days seems to be so bad that most companies don't want to risk a real launch and go with a "fake" open beta first.
  • Hmm, did i miss the time when NW WAS fun, because i can't really remember that one ? Maybe if they would put some bosses into the dungeons it would be fun, but the lazy add spamming is not what i would call a fun boss encounter, at least not if it is the only one in game.
  • Cool, so you fixed dodge ? You know the atrocious lag and rubber-banding that makes it nearly impossible to dodge most stuff on EU (around 100-200 latency, depending on how bad the server is that day).
  • Just take a look at CO and STO, you will immediately see how big the chances for a different boss mechanic is.
  • While there might be some exploit/shortcut fixes, i don't see them ever fixing the horrible boss designs. I actually think that the engine can't handle anything better, because all "bosses" in all 3 games are the same. It looks like all ANY NPC can do is trigger a fixed number of abilities randomly and nothing more.
  • All 3 games have there own launcher/patcher anyway, so does it matter that much ?
  • They should just increase the timers on all those abilities by a second, at least until they can fix it. Today it was pointless even trying to doge anything, we got hot 80-90% of the time anyway. Even in the beginning, where it was still client side, a lot of the abilities were very hard to dodge on EU.

  • Not on a regular Basis. Solo PvE Content is horribly balanced at higher Level and no fun at all. They tell us it was designed for a Player plus companion and than don't give us a companion, not to speak of how bad the companion AI is too.   • The whole idea is nice, but the implementation is really bad. If you have around 100+ latency, you have nearly no reaction time left to avoid the bigger hits, even some red zones are nearly not avoidable. And then you have the funny 2 mob groups that do nothing but spawn there "small" special, as early as the 2 enforcers.…
  • I really wonder if this is a limitation of the engine. I can't remember any boss in the 3 games that really has a "mechanic" to it, i heard there is on in CO, but i haven't seen him myself. It's like all an NPC can do is do random special that are on a CD (or not for some mobs).

  • Is that confirmed ? It looks like the chest itself has a chance to give better rewards when you open it at random, not that you have a chance to get a better chest in the first place or how does this work ?
  • I bugged that, i am pretty sure this one should convert local maps to district maps, just like the higher level version that upgrades the district maps to the blue version (no idea what the name is atm). It might be a "quick" fix to limit the amount of district maps though, as you need those to collect taxes.

  • Huh? So you ONLY tanked the boss and nothing else ? I doubt any GF can't handle that, especially if everybody else is nearly forbidden to hit him.
  • All bosses would need a complete redesign to not be lazy zerg fights, but that would take time, effort and some creativity, so it will never happen. A lot of the leveling contest is totally over tuned, i doubt that many random group will clear the dungeons at the lowest level you can queue for them, even at the max levels…
  • You can only "store" around 10(or so) mails anyway, after that you can't send yourself any more mails, so the amount you can store in the mail is not that big. If the bag prices wouldn't be so outrages there would be less need to mule anyway.

  • I doubt the tomes will be any cheaper than buying a ZEN comp, even though they tell us the game is balanced for player + comp ;) I also don't think they will ever fix that unbelievable AI they have, it feels like a dev spent a lot of time to make them this dumb.

  • At least you can dodge sometimes, try playing a GF with all those circles plopping up (in Grey Wolf a few minutes ago). You can only try to walk out, but many are so short you won#t make it, get knocked up (blockable), fall down, take 3.5k damage and fall or your face, just to have the boss on you whacking you for another…
