It's crazy how much aggro we manage to build. In MSVA, the boss would walk through the mob to get to me and the tank would not gain aggro until the boss stopped moving. I was spamming range (no CD's) using AotF.
Gear wise I have only one more change to make and it's to add AC and retain Pwr/Recovery by way of Greater Lathander's cloak. If I was to change, it would be to something that benefits the group comp. Presently, I am on a quest to reach 38K power and our fast approaching 2xRefinement weekend should help. @reconjsh#7545…
At what point do you receive the max damage potential with the Orc set? What you do with the Orc set is crucial. I feel its a great set for PvE. For PvP, it neatly fills in the stats. Would I equip it, no.
Its not single class discrimination, its all. So this is more of dedication to the job/profession issue, the Dev retention is low. Hire to fix a problem, let go, rinse, repeat...
I see your argument, but if a TR or HR is trapped in a rotation by a GF, could be lights-out. Wizards/Warlocks have a decent rotation, etc, etc... Again, its about the 5v5 comp.
I fail to see the need for any change to take place with the HR. TRs were beasts at one point and still are even after the hack they received Mods ago. So there is now a new contender(HR) and a call-out to do something about it. Until everything actually works for this class, postpone this effort to snuff the HR... Its an…
Crit has to be a mimimun 16K (while idle, PWR above 26K), when the companion procs, rings, other consumables are used, and you're generally first to the fight, flooding the screen with numbers is possible and can top the board.
@wdj40, hope I did not bang on you too much... :) High power is generally what I was. If I had a GF of GWF to confront, I would add 4k ArP by way of mount. Lone Wolf and Pathfinders is my norm. I don't see a need for more than 6% LS. Defense is what ever the gear offers. Trapper Piercing Blade hybrid is great but I am full…
@wdj40, yeah... It's easy explaining free damage and I would not have bothered. I laughed at that first comment. Glad you touched on it. I respec'd yesterday and I feel the PF Combat-Arch build I attempted may be suitable with the MOD10 drop tomorrow, I will try it again then. I tried a normal rotation and was forced to…
There are still a lot of choices to consider in your current Mod. Mounts bonuses, campaign boons, equipment, feats, ancillaries. You can find middle ground between PvE and PvP, but you will benefit better being fully one or the other, hence the reason I have both.
Sorry, there was a network crisis here at work. With 160K+ HP and decent stats else where, should be able to take a huge beating and dip to regain a footing. I don't visit the camp fire as much. Makes it easier for the team if I can stay out there with them.
Oppressor's Reprieve, Survivor's Blessing, Survivor's Gift, Gladiator's Guile, Artificer's Persuasion are what I presently use in PvP. I have been able to suspend (stall) 3, 4, the team at a node while we cap the others. I don't feel its wise to NOT have the HP boon and a fair amount of Regen when you must dip.
I was testing Combat earlier this week to understand/establish a rotation for PvP. I ended up not using a cap stone. Survival was not an issue making it possible to be a *huge* distraction on a node. So I look forward to Mod 10's damage bonus.
