Don't forget that STO's "expansion" launched on Tuesday, and according to a few friends there are log in queues. This could very well be the source of a lot of the general lag.

Well, I'd volunteer because I genuinely enjoy the game and want to see it do well. However, being bipolar I'm unsure of the standards of mods banning other mods lol (that would be ME getting the ban)

Personally I find the pack to be a genuinely nice gesture. I mean really, they could have said: As compensation and thanks for sticking with us you are gifted with a day of free play! (aka nothing) Besides they can't please everyone, and one man's trash is another man's treasure and...omg I just became my grandfather.

I had at one point considered setting up channels for these two things, but gave up on the idea upon remembering that too many people wouldn't have the sense to use them.

A full server wipe works for me. Would give me a chance to repair damage done while leveling my initial toons at no cost to me lol. Sure I'll loose progress, bank items, currency etc etc. As long as the 4 extra char slots I got are there, then the rest is just electrons and pixels anyway.
