Yeah I guess the chests issue can not really be determined. Don't know how to combat that. The regular chest you get at the end of a quest isn't really worth it most of the time. Today i completed two foundry's and i got no prize.
OMG that worked! Thank you so much this worked! I guess it was just the type of door I originally chose. I can not thank you enough this has been riving me crazy.
I still can not find a solution to my problem. I set the map transition component to the door and when people are clicking on this door, they get the two options, "Enter the Temple" (the text i have set) or "Interact. If they choose interact nothing happens, they do not progress to the next map, and they can not complete.…
Its up to the players to report these exploits plain and simple. If you feel a mission is exploiting you have to say something. Most probably will not as they just want to grind to max level, get the best gear and do it again with another toon.
The Foundry quests go into the For Review tab first then after awhile they get moved to new. I posted mine on 5/3 had some guild mates check it out and just today its now searchable.
No that's not the problem. When the door is clicked it gives the option to interact or got to the next map. I know i can change the text, I do not want to have the interact option. People have been clicking this, and it doesn't transition them forward it is making people stuck. I want to be able to click the door, and boom…
Version 0.2 Updates- Added invisible walls on Celestial Way map to avoid monsters/PC's & loot from falling off the edge. - Adjusted some hidden mobs to act accordingly - Changed Backdrop on Celestial Way Map for more detail.
Well I am trying to create my first Foundry mission and I am trying to take some concepts of my table top creations, then have to remember this is an MMO and the audience is nto all role players but people who want a little substance but still want to crack a few skulls and not be bored with to much dialog. For this…
As i was going back into the foundry i noticed this seemed to be the cause of the problem. If you placed the mob to close to say the wall of a hallway and the mob would be within the wall, or you let go of your mouse while dragging the mob over to the map it seems to happen. Thanks for the heads up.
I honestly just want to allow play testing of a quest before published with people I know is all i really want. Better for those who approve the Quests if they are fine tuned before going public.
For a boss, It would be the ability to use a single NPC character and be able to change its difficulty. Say I wanted to make a custom NPC mage named Bob and make him a gold Elite. Cant do that can only use group encounters, or find a group with a single mob and change the skin. There are not a lot. A boss to me is a named…
