I came back to the game having been away for a while. I'm now looking at the changes, and I'm eyes wide open in shock! Why have you seriously lessened the movement speed options on a class (TR) that is supposed to be nimble and fast? At the same time you guys boosted damage (based on movement) on another dps class that can…
I'm getting a sense of Deja Vu here. We've already had equipment go live that has had to be level adjusted at a later date, twice. The state of pvp is bad enough without yet more high level equipment being used to devastating effect on lower level pvp players. Please do a thorough pass of the equipment before it goes live!
well, can't say I'm not disappointed. Not in the lack of patch notes, after all it's unreasonable to think that there would be bug fixes week in and week out. No, I'm disappointed that there is no word about further changes. Sentences like "we're not done with the AD changes yet" and "soon" aren't tantalizing or…
Strum, we DID get seals of triumph from Gauntlgrym victory. Pvp victory was attainable through it, thus we could could collect the seal. Changing this will be yet another thorn in the side of the player base. Please don't make it temporary
Absolutely dave, although these wards are only available at the same rank Stronghold as the drain overloads, so still further out of reach for many with the AD change. It's collateral damage that hasn't been considered with the roll out of this "fix". Were AD requirements to be removed from stronghold upgrades/AD tokens…
Well, I'd opened my wallet for VIP because it seemed they were starting to listen to feedback and communicate better in general. By instigating this without considering the vast AD sinks that are disproportionate to the new model of the economy, I will not be and I suspect that many of my guildies will not be advancing our…
I'm constantly amazed that they do nothing to bring back the old dungeons. It's continually requested by players and would go along way to giving players hope for the future. Particularly given this announcement. I'm starting to think someone at cryptic has lost them
There will be no communication. It's no coincidence that this was announced before the weekend. It allows time for everyone to vent their collective spleens. No communication will confirm that
It might be cynicism talking, but I'm expecting them to look into it in the same way that they looked into DH drop rates. I.e. not at all. If they're releasing this, they should have planned for all types of players out there, be they groups/solos/pvps etc. It's not like this issue with AD production hasn't been there for…
Kreatyve, I'd agree in many respects with this. Evening the playing field would be a good thing and I'm willing to "wait and see" too. However, this is also the message from cryptic. They're going to wait and see before introducing ways to earn AD from other sources. This reeks of a change being made without full insight…
Scott, I work in healthcare so these analogies spring to mind. This is a bad idea, because whilst you are amputating the diseased leg (in this case with a cleaver), you're not stopping the bleeding. You haven't done your preparation by measuring up a prosthetic in advance. The patient won't be able to walk until you do.…
No one is asking for level 60 to 70 on a silver plater. Players are just asking to not flagellate their way to the games end content. Punishing players that could be spending money later on is not a good business model. I'm pretty sure that Stockholm syndrome doesn't translate well to MMOs  Must....punish....…
It doesn't take that long to work out that the XP changes to the leveling between 60 and 70 was an ill thought move. Inactivity on this alone is an enormous put off for any of the newer players leveling, and a temporary boost through 2x XP weekend is unlikely to do anything beyond making the leveling of alts a little less…
These numbers quoted are circa the amount prior to your adjustment. With module 6 NPCs and players able to hit for heaps more than before, how do these changes make the enchant any more useful/worth investing AD to rank up? Unless I'm missing something from your calculations or maybe the decimal point is in the wrong place…
I am deeply disappointed with these changes. I don't feel that my time, effort or money is valued. It feels that I am, as a player, considered collateral damage in an effort to combat those that bot. If what i hear is correct that a "normal gaming session" is ~1 hr, this is inconsistent with the 4 hour invocation timer…
Perception bias. The results show that 50% of players that frequent the forum, happen to look at the thread and then decide to vote, disagree. Rather than 50% of players are TRs.
Yeah, you can tell us. You've told us more than once though, and our memories aren't that short. Unless of course you look upon it as credentials to validate you point of view. I believe Mr Freud would have referred to it as Ego. Cutting you playtime to 10% obviously hasn't been wasted. We can see that you've made good use…
Jarec, I had the pleasure of fighting you in a PvP pug run quite recently. When I opened the opponent window your name pretty much leaped at me given that you're such a vocal proponent of wielding the nerf bat towards TRs. As such, I was eager to see whether you conformed to my expectations. Well, I was in for a surprise.…
