That is a mentality that has been around for generations and people always forget that "the house always wins". If people want to gamble, i will not complain. But for people like me who will never gamble, it makes the game seem cheap and unpolished. Randomly winning isn't winning.

The complaint about sto is that you can't have too many people in one zone because each character has so many possibilities and some video cards wouldn't be able to handle more than 40 ppl. I really don't mind the lack of customization. I am colorblind and I would rather more ugly people in a zone than less pretty people. (For lack of a better term, I guess)

I only got to level 17 so I never got a mount. How do they work? Is it like the companions where if you are outside you are automatically on your horse? Does your companion just run behind you unmounted?

Thank you for the answer. I was just wondering because I played a control wizard to level 15 and was having a tough time.
