Thanks for a reply that's actually intelligent.* There have been updates with corrections to spelling, punctuation, and grammar, but despite multiple requests this has been ignored (as, of course, have "six-year anniversary" and its category). *Not the only one here; just the only one that warranted a reply with a quote.…
Hey, I've already tried pointing this out based on just the spelling problem -- which is the real issue I have with it -- and so have at least two other people. I'm starting to think that the Devs just don't care about that, given how I've had to deal with the jarring use of "One-Year Anniversary" through "Six-Year…
Just about everyone, it seems, to the exclusion of all else. Thus, the problem. Casting aside my Wizard's summoning a dinosaur at the start of combat and every couple of minutes during, so he can get +4 AC and other extra stats, is good for becoming "super powerful" but breaks his concept. Those of us who are here for…
I already change appearance. Appearance is not the issue. Special abilities according to theme is the issue. Should my Wizard have to forego Mirage gear from the Cloaked Ascendancy, and its ability to call forth three illusory versions of himself, for the far-higher stats of some later version that gives something like…
I'd appreciate just a general guide to what's happening with them in M16, really. The above change in the Zen Market leads me to think that the number of Active Companions (including Summoned but not Idle) will be fixed throughout, though whether that's 1, 5, 16, Unlimited, or whatever, I don't know.
While I'm as sorry as anyone else to see the Foundry go, I do hope you'll archive the existing work that's been done just in case you ever decide to bring it back. It's enough of a shame to lose all this work; it'd be even more frustrating to have the system come back but the content still gone.
Mostly I just want to be able to transfer Chultan and Masterwork materials around. Tools would be great too. Whether it's something in the Workshop or part of the Banking portal, I don't much care. I'd just really, really like to have it.
As far as expanding the tool and materials tab, I'd be happy enough with double the size. So far I've only had one character punching the limit and having to sell off stuff. The main thrust of my original post, though, was so I could work with a situation where Character A has stuff that he doesn't need, but Character B…
Aha! I didn't think to look under the All tab after not finding it under any of the others (though I probably should have thought to use Search; that's how I found Sword Coast Tea Leaves).
Thank you! It's much easier to do things this way, at least in this sort of discussion. I've recently noticed two things missing from the list of items we can craft. One is the Haste boosts for crafting itself. We can make things to boost Proficiency and Focus, but not these Speed items, though they do sometimes come…
A few other things come to mind: More worker slots. There's lots of room upstairs -- plenty for as many as six workers without bumping into each other. I was slightly surprised that we didn't get +1 project slot per Workshop level; it just seems logical. (I don't expect to ever want more than that, nor do I think more…
That's something I hadn't considered. I may go that route (and convert the freed-up gems) unless I can find some regular gear that still works better. Still, we can craft two-slot rings, as well as buy them from multiple sources.
Housing areas Champions Online-style with the same decor items as in the Stronghold Guild Halls (or at least the ones that make sense in a personal residence) could be done, perhaps with an entrance/exit at the back of the Workshop.
I was thinking of the cost of processing, such as turning Flax into Linen Yarn or Ash Logs into Ash Lumber, along with the Commission for the item itself.
I've been making items in the Level 16-19 range, and making off like a bandit selling them to the VIP Seal Vendor (though just about any vendor will do) for 34s18c apiece with a base total cost of roughly 5-10s each (higher-level items sell for the same amount, but with higher costs). It's especially nice when I can score…
Same problem here. I didn't even realize at first that the collection of balloons and parts was a part of this the first time through, since my system completed the assigning of that without my interacting. It took me a while to figure out: the entry is in the nook on Graz' right.
Well, that's not so much "no worries" as "reduced worries." I'll still have a full row of those buggers, but at least they'll stop accumulating from that point.
I've now accumulated nearly 1000 of these, with no end in sight. It's actually made me afraid to participate in 2x XP weekends (like the one that just passed), lest I get even more. That's not right. Please, devs, pick one or more of these options:* Reduce how often these items show up with bonus levels. * Allow them to be…
When originally described, and in the blog description, I was rather upset with this change. My characters have been depending on Salvage for much of their AD income. The more thorough description at the top of this thread gave me hope, though, with AD given as direct rewards for things that currently give Salvageable…
I'm now having this exact same problem (on PC). I'll try the protect/unprotect suggestion. (I did craft all of the items myself with Leatherworking, and the names are identical to what the quest calls for.) Hopefully the devs will look at this closely and fix it in an upcoming patch.
I'd kind of like it to be selective, if that's even possible. I like hearing from my own characters' Angel and Evoker, for example, but every time I hear, "A smart fighter quits while he's ahead," I want to scream, "Hey, guess what? YOU'RE AHEAD!!!"
So far the only RED I've had regular problems with (other than people running ahead before I even arrive, and skipping foes that I then have to deal with solo, as discussed in another thread) is FBI. Only once have I gotten further than the top of the initial mountain, and usually people are unable to get past the first…
I think that this is a brilliant idea. Make it a Rare task -- or even part of Masterwork -- and let it cost 5-10 Tomes per Token. Yeah, I could definitely get behind that.
Though I voted for Monk, I'd be happy to see that, Bard, Druid, or Illusionist. ("But he never reappeared!" "He wasn't a very good illusionist." -- Tim Curry & Madeline Kahn, Clue)
To be clear: I don't much mind taking shortcuts, if everyone else is. It's just that that first one in Temple of Spider is hard for me to remember, and the one in Grey Wolf Den is awfully inconvenient. (I just barrel on through in the Normal versions of these two, unless I'm up with the group, but still struggle in the…
I voted for Shifter, though really what I want is anything canine. That would make for a perfect Cleric. After all, who knows better how to heal than a dog? #BadPunNoCookie
