Welcome aboard. As you can tell from my other posts here, I am an old school gamer(started pen and paper 25 - 26 years ago). We differ in that I prefer Dragonlance to the Realms but I still enjoy both. My gamertag is b0red gamer. I am always up for some adventuring!

The above post is correct you need to remove the ignore via XBL by searching for your friends gamertag. If that doesn't work send them a message, that should remove the ignore. Also, don't bother reporting players for things like that. Honestly it will do no good.

Aside from the life steal change it is not much different then before. Even with that my percentage is high enough that it still procs quite often. My damage output is near the same as before since my ArP is at 60%. I run a Soulbinder/Fury build so I do good DPS (especially with Soul Scorch) and still have decent survival.…

Not to impose but I solo the low player count heroics (3 - 5+) and all of the quests with my SW. Maybe your build needs some work. I do agree that many people want to solo these things due to the fact they do not want to share any exp. What kind of SW are you and what are your stats like?

No it does not show a "powerful" fan base and calling this script kiddie a hacker is just adding fuel to the fire. Any one with an ounce of brain matter can download and run a DDoS. The simple fact that it is happening in bursts and not sustained says volumes about how inept the attacker is.

It seems really odd that a DDoS would come in "bursts" instead of a sustained attack. If I were an "attacker" per se it would be more gratifying to sustain the DDoS and make sure access to said game or server(s) was null. Weird.

Seems like it is not just centered on Neverwinter. Hopefully the attacks will stop or get redirected. I have never understood the DDoS mentality. It really does not take much talent, most of the time the people who perform the attacks are using a prog someone else wrote and do not really understand how or why it works. Sad.

Yeah LOTRO and DDO would be a nightmare in comparison. Personally, I enjoy having to play longer to get higher levels. It is more rewarding in my opinion.

Well, if I block a profile that is spamming zone chat. Log out, close the application, start the game and log back in, I can still see the same profile spamming the chat. Blocking a profile on XBL would have no impact on the profile's ability to spam zone chat. You would still be able to see it. That being said, hopefully we get an in-game chat blocking option soon.
