I feel like this update made everyone lazy. No one seems to want to team up for quests and heroic encounters. I post many lfg posts in the chat but barely any one responds to them. I am a warlock and my character cannot do quests and lairs alone, I spend a good amount of time outside the entrance to lair waiting for someone to help me even though I have posted for help on the chat box. Before people where always down to do anything, now no one does anything together

Not to impose but I solo the low player count heroics (3 - 5+) and all of the quests with my SW. Maybe your build needs some work. I do agree that many people want to solo these things due to the fact they do not want to share any exp. What kind of SW are you and what are your stats like?

Some lairs just not worth doing (think of Sharandar).
As for encounters - e.g. in Icewind Dale - there are quite hours and there are busy hours, so chose the right time or the right location.

From what I've noticed, the majority of players who aren't trying to level to 70 (which isn't many) are farming encounters in icewindale. That zone chat is always busy. Plus the enemies are much tougher so people are way more active in regards to asking for help.

I've never had the issue of not being able to receive help with a lair. Haven't tried dungeon queues yet. Your best bet is to manually target players you see in the instance and try talking to them specifically. Most of the new content is easily soloable by a DPS class however. Maybe that's why it's quieter then usual.

before updates people are down to do anything because they were bored. now they have a mission.
But, I've been having no problems finding people to run things with me. I target the instance with the most people. then I hang outside where I want to go and I invite every person I see going past. longest I've had to wait is about 5 minutes that way. I solo'd a few things, and I enjoy being able to poke around inside the quest area without rushing.. but really running it fast is so much better. it takes forever to run those kinds of quests solo on the 70+ levels

Aside from the life steal change it is not much different then before. Even with that my percentage is high enough that it still procs quite often. My damage output is near the same as before since my ArP is at 60%. I run a Soulbinder/Fury build so I do good DPS (especially with Soul Scorch) and still have decent survival. Leveling up my OP at the moment, loved playing on one PC.

While there are a lot of players in IWD, note, that it's a single instance map, so it looks more busy.
When it gets super busy you'll even start seeing lag in EE fights.
Since I'm trying to do a little bit of everything I can assure you that all campaign zones are quite busy, same are leveling dungeons, and to a less extent skirmishes.
