One problem I see is that with the new Need/Greed system (which I support) together with this proposed change, it will be very difficult to get class specific equipment for your companion. Playing a CW and getting an end game Icon for my Ioun Stone of Allure will be nigh impossible. Would there be any way to allow sale of…
Well, as some others have reported, the download speed rapidly increased at about 85% and I got in. Unfortunately, I was greeted with a BSOD. After a reboot, it began downloading again -- this time to 3Gig -- but finished rather quickly. Everything seems to be working now. Thanks to all who are spending their Saturday…
No luck for me. My game has been attempting to patch for about 10 hours. I've closed and restarted several times. Are there any specific instructions for turning it off? As soon as I saw how fast the leveling was, I realized there was trouble in paradise. No way the devs can keep ahead of this leveling speed. No way to roll it back either, without a wipe, which would make a lot of people mad. A rock on one side and a hard place on the other. Game Over.
The "war on fun" will not be necessary when casual players hit max level after a couple of weeks. Folks will get their equipment within another few weeks, then look around for something to do. The foundry can't substitute for high end dungeons -- there will not be the widely shared goals of getting new equipment. I fear…
This doesn't seem to be the case on some side quests. For example, I missed the Blacklake quests lines that include "body snatching" and "assigning blame" on my main, but got them on my alt. When I went back to the quest givers with my main I couldn't pick them up.
