Maybe I should elaborate more. Day one: I did the event on my main toon and once done, got a 6 hr cool down. I did that around 5pm EST(3 hrs behind the PDS zone). I logged back in after the 6 hrs and did the event on all 3 of my toons. I got a 12 hr cool down after that. I logged in on Friday around 1pm EST and did the event again on all 3 of my toons. Got the 16 hr cool down. Had insomnia so I did the event around 8am EST on Saturday and got the 22 hrs and so many minutes cool down on all 3 toons. Thank you for your standard reply that does little to answer the problem. Just what is the cool down for THIS event? The standard time of 3pm and 2:59am doesn't apply here. Why would I get 4 different cool down times? Anyone else having this issue? This will keep me from getting anything beyond the archer companion. And now, why do I get the message to strengthen my post by 10 characters twice now?
It wasn't a standard response, I actually wrote that just for you. Regardless, your approximate times would be consistent with the global daily reset time of 3:00am PDT which would be 6:00am EDT. We're 3 hours after PDT, not before, for us in EDT.

I'd like to see events go away from RNG and more to Assured Rewards.
Also, please do away with multiple currencies and unify them into a single currency, making everything the Event has to reward be available in the Event's Vendor with the same currency. Better yet, do like CTAs do and make ALL Events use these same Medals so our previous Event Fun can be applied to future and re-occuring Events!
Furthermore, for the love of Mystryl (or Mystra or whatever power you believe in), please do not make reward currency decay after X-amount of time ever again like what was done to Winter and Summer events!
RNG is killing my enjoyment of these otherwise wonderfully designed Events!
Couldn't have said it better myself.

As far as Im concerned the event rocks. Most everything is BoE with a few things even BoA. This alone makes the event a huge win, and needs more support if we wish to see more of this.
I also like how there are many ways to get the various event goodies. You can earn easy daily rewards, farm for coins, convert daily rewards for coins, farm for rare drops, craft for a chance for rare drops, or simply buy the stuff on the AH. And the prices for most of this, are fairly reasonable and very alt friendly. All in all, I can find little to complain about.
How, exactly, is farming fun? Sounds like a job.

I can't agree with this. My GF and DC have had multiple Great Successes. most notably in the Catapult event. Both are LV 60 around 13K GS. My DC runs heals for the dragons and dps ( CoBL and DL) for the Cult Assaults. The GF just tries to keep the dragons stationary (no spinning). I can't speak to TRs. Maybe Ive been lucky to have been on moderately populated instances?
I have a much easier time getting Great Success for DC/GF/TR on dragons than on cultist events. DC heals, GF keeps the bloody thing from spinning in circles, and TRs are able to shine against one big meaty target far more than against waves of adds. I actually really like doing this event on my GF due to the "show them how it's done" factor - I've encountered an awful lot of players with no idea how to actually facetank, and a few who are great at it.
My best experiences have actually been on my DC. Once I had the targetting bug for a dragon and couldn't manage to shake it, so I went back to the other heroic that was running, the attack on the medical camp, and a lone HR was trying to solo it from the campfire. I switched to my DPS loadout and the two of us rocked it. Smiles exchanged afterwards.
The other time, a baby GF and I initiated with a dragon on a fairly empty map. People did eventually show up and the dragon went down. He sent me a message after asking, "Was that you healing me?" I replied that I had simply been keeping AoE heals and buffs up, and he said "Did you see me? I'm level 12 and I was tanking it!" And he very much was... the guy actually knew how to use his marking and blocking to keep that thing in line. It was a very positive exchange.
It is super-fast to pop in and get two heroics done per alt if you're not concerned about scoring great success every time. Archers for everyone is totally doable, and I'll be able to get some other stuff too.
The event zone has the HEs popping in fairly rapid succession, so there isn't this sense of downtime like in IWD. Coupled with the fairly attainable prices of items, it gives you a decent sense of progression, when compared to trying for that companion or mount in a CTA is straight up RNG tedium.

I'll give em credit for that. Quick to do daily for single currency for most of which you'd want from the vendor, cept the horn, if you even like that...
Ok now that the event is coming to a close Ill give my feedback/review.
Initial thoughts:
I honestly thought this was a good event. It felt like a mix of CTA and seasonal events. The rewards were sort of tiered and accessible. I prefer killing mobs, so I was happy it involved that, rather than picking flowers or sitting at a hole pressing "f". The drop rates on whatever else you could get (other than 20 star things) during the actual HE were kind of low including the battle supplies. Allowing crafting to make battle supplies was great, though mostly benefited people with lots of characters/accounts (which isnt bad, people spent money/time to get those extra char). The HEs spawned quickly enough, and there wasnt a 40 person zerg at each cause of the zone limiting; that was good. The event lasting longer than 3 days is also good, I still cant wrap my head around the gond event. Overall I thought this was a decently balanced event.
PROS:
HE spawn quickly and many zones, made it easy to farm HEs if thats what you wanted to do
15 person limit per zone, zerging wasnt too bad. Easier to get great success (which doesnt really mean much)
The tiered awards
- T1- Green companion w stat bonus (all you had to do was log in do 2 quick HES for 5 days and it was yours) - Fantastic
- T2- The horn (here you actually had to kind of grind, unless you use the medals to get the currency)- I think this should of been like a party buff or a blue companion even if it meant requiring more of the currency. Its one of those rewards which doesnt seem worth it, but its great it was easier to acquire, but Id prefer a better item for a little longer grind.
- T3- The battlefield medic/the horse - Honestly I am fine with the t3 reward being RNG as long as its possible to get 1 ticket to try f2p (which it is). 1 ticket to try for f2p at least 2-3 would be awesome but 1 is just fine. (there are certain RNG items im fine with limited time events would include times/items where it happens, as long as there is a way for f2p to have a chance; instead of just having to buy everything with AD/zen etc etc, I want to play to win, not farm AD/zen all day to do anything)
- The environment/zone felt like a battlefield
Cons-
-The horn should of been a better item (blue companion, party wide buff, lille more health buff). even at a little bit longer but attainable grind.
-If you make the t3 higher award RNG please make sure people can at least obtain the currency needed to obtain in f2p manner, if just 1-2 tries at the lottery box its put in. (this isnt really a con for this event, just hope they make future events reasonable)
Suggestions:
-I agree 1 unified currency for all events would be ideal, if not at least 1 unified currency for each individual event.
-RNG im fine for the highest reward, just make sure there's at least a f2p method to attain that chance
Overall id give it a +1 with suggestions for tweaks. IDK maybe the Gond event was so bad this is just like 20 times better that I have relaxed my expectations.
You can only gain Medals of Heroism with a craft grind ( good luck there, takes 6 crafted packs to get 1 medal, takes 6 hours to craft 1 ( maybe 2 ) packs ).
Or you can try ( and fail, if you're not dps spec ) for a great result in the HE. For 1 pack. Still takes 6 to equal 1 medal.
Takes 7 medals for 1 rng chance at... ( nothing really worth the time )
Ignore the event. Enjoy the main game, and the nice night sky over PE.
Can we get this extended, these events are so complicated with countless types of currency and trying to keep track of what you need for what and how to get it and if the task to get the currency is on cooldown or not. Limited time events probably should not have cooldowns on any tasks either.

The event had a cooldown on the task because it was a daily, which reset like every other daily in the game - and by now, you should be able to understand how dailies work.
I really liked the event, although I had apprehensions that it would be too grindy - until I actually ran it.
The art was great, and I always enjoy seeing a night sky in PE.
The HEs spawned constantly, which made it easy for me to do the siege daily on six characters in less than one hour, so the event was not a big burden on top of my usual activities.
You could farm for medals and defense supplies whether you were a one-character focused player - by farming the HEs themselves - or an altoholic like me - by crafting. That was a brilliant idea.
The HEs themselves were fun, and were different enough that any class should have been able to get Great Success at least half the time (I ran all classes but TR, and they all got Great Success most of the time). I especially like the Catapult HE: it seemed very dynamic with intense, small-scale battles and the movement from catapult to catapult. It was especially fun when there were just 3 or 4 of us fighting in an HE; I actually felt heroic in those fights.
My one criticism is the complexity of the currencies: cult insignias, writs of commendation, battle honors which became writs, medals of heroism, defense supplies which could be turned in for medals or insignias. Many people were confused by the similarity in appearance of the battle honors and medals - as shown by the bug reports for this event.
There was only one thing I complain about this event, it was short! I didn't had time to play till the 22nd, then doing the quest only once a day was a killer, I got only 3 "Writs of commendation" when I needed 5 for my desired reward... since when the event ends I am at work, I couldn't get any one 25th, even if I did it would still be only 4 and never 5...
Next time something like this comes up, I wish the event would reset every like 3 hours at least in the last 2 days.

No more HE events, robbed it of any enjoyment. Either too many players killing things before you can look the other way or not enough to kill a boss in time.
I also noted that if Catapult was up, it would be firing on Encounters that were active up towards the front also... Adding to the dynamics of other active Encounters.
I did love that detail! It felt like an authentic siege. I hope to see more like this in the future. Great job, Cryptic!
I actually liked this event. The battlefield fights were chaotic, with masses of enemies and allies all over the place. There were enough enemies that the fights weren't over in a matter of seconds, the dragons had a good amount of HPs, so those fights were at least decent even with the zerg groups. With the many different kinds of encounters, it didn't become too grindy. The rewards were obtainable, with a modicum of effort, not a continuous grind. Even the different currencies did not detract too much, if you spent a minute to read what the NPCs said. The only two complaints I can really voice is that the enemy generals went down to easily and the best reward was hidden behind the RNG wall.
This was a great event. I loved that it was made up of 3 heroic encounters. Please do more of these.
I wish I would have known that the event was ending at a certain time. I saw that it was supposed to last until 9/25 but when I logged in at 6:00pm EST on 9/25 it was already gone. I just needed one more reward to get the item I was saving for. I would have logged in sooner (duh!).
I'm sure it gave the exact time somewhere. I probably just didn't know where to look.
