    That's too bad. Currently I mostly play in Icewind Dale with my GWF. Other powers besides IBS don't have out-of-sync sound. I'll check again at different locations to get an idea if it is related to the loaction. Also I'll ask others playing GWF.

    It appears that all fire assets that glow blue or greenish make the tortured screaming noise. It is most eerie, but probably not the effect you were going for.

    New music not playing live, even if playing in music preview...

    Found the problem and checked in a fix. Should get to you in the coming weeks. The following events were tested to make sure they work properly:


    Winter Event
    Caer Konig
    Icewind Pass
    Dwarven Valley
    Summer Festival Dancers

    If there are more malfunctioning music events that do not play live please let us know.

    I don't expect it to get fixed for this year obviously, but there are a huge number of audio and text mis-matches with Elminster's Fedex dailies for the Jubilee. Enough of them that I think it might be easier to just go through them internally than to try to compile a list of errors because there are so many quests and we might only see some of them.

    There's also one where the voice actor really blatantly flubs a line and corrects himself. It's in the Whispering Caverns, but I'll try to note that quest name if it comes up again.

    I don't expect it to get fixed for this year obviously, but there are a huge number of audio and text mis-matches with Elminster's Fedex dailies for the Jubilee.     If you can come up with the specific quest that would be great. Otherwise we'll go through the WC lines and see if we can snuff it out.

    My throne from the anniversary event makes a Horsey sound when I summon it xD neeeeeiiiighhh!

    Elminster's quest with the voice acting error is The Northdark Report, if my guildie remembered correctly. Hope that helps. It never came up again for me.

    Don't know if this has been checked, but the weekly quest "kill the hammerstone queen", when you go to the npc to finish the quest in caer koning the npc has wrong audio.

    Testing on the live server it looks like this issue has been resolved.

    I finally got onto preview and noticed that the new ToD NPCs (the Harper and company) are audible no matter where you are in PE, and I think you can hear them speaking their intro lines whenever somebody else interacts with them. It was sort of hard to tell.

    I finally got onto preview and noticed that the new ToD NPCs (the Harper and company) are audible no matter where you are in PE, and I think you can hear them speaking their intro lines whenever somebody else interacts with them. It was sort of hard to tell.

    Thanks! We're investigating now. Hopefully we can get in a fix before ToD releases but it may not get implemented until week 2.

    Hammerstone queen hammer quest has the audio for Judge's Gavel quest again.

    Some foundry sound bugs:

    I noticed that lately all music is mixed under the "looping" category, even if it's not looping music at all. If I search for one time music there's just ONE that show up, all the rest is under the "looping" category, this is pretty bad because I need real looping music and testing them one by one is a very long and tiring process.
    I hope it can be fixed in the future. :)

    Heya Reiwulf, just wanted to let you know that last week we went through and made a point of updating all of the music events with proper tags. The fix should go live some time next week or the week after. So now one shot music events will be properly catgorized under the one shot category.

    This bug has been going on since Beta. It was reported, and hell, I even sent a bug report, but it still hasn't been fix. I took a small hiatus, and come back, and it's still there. Maybe I should write a letter to Statesman and tell him to take a peek at his Neverwinter team and look at the growing list of bugs. LoL

    Sigh... we've gone in to fix this several times now and it continues to be a thorn in our side. We have just put in a fix again, hopefully for the last time. So sorry about the delay. It should be fixed in the next couple of weeks.
