The Guardian Fighter skills were what they should be for a Tank class i.e a decent block/guard ability and better threat levels, and better O.S Skills The Biggest Example of this being Iron warrior, When below 10% health can give a max of 5500 Temp health but the Tool Tip kind of indicates it recovers your guard meter and can sustain more damage before breaking.... pfft yeah right..
Iron Warrior does actually do what the tool tip states, it's just that in my (limited) experience the amount of recovery and extra guarding you get is perhaps only really adequate for the solo content level of enemies, where it works fantastically well. I don't do dungeons or PvP but Iron Warrior couldn't keep up with damage you take in the 2-3 person Icewind Dale heroic encounter (me failing at soloing it).
Perhaps this needs a rework so that it scales better with content.
Played the preview and HR is totally useless now, I'm using the archer build, didn't know about the meele build.
Theres no way this game get balanced if they dont do a total combat system overhaul, something like the HR meele/ranged system of powers, but this time a pve/pvp system of powers where every power have a diferent way of working in each mode.
Seens to be time to give up in this piece of HAMSTER. I'm a great fan o NWN 1 and 2 and still had hopes to see this game becoming good, but the greediness of PWE and total stupidity and incompetence of Cryptic have no end.
With your split shot, nerfed or not, you know you are strong in pvp and always welcome, stop joking.
And if we don't want HR in PVE it's because split shot take too much aggro and mob are always chasing you.
OK, I know this is a hard concept to grasp but I swear to god, it has worked great for me. Regardless of what class you play, when you see a HR kneel down, just stand by it and wait for the mobs to come to you. Its so simple I cant believe no one else has thought of it.
Yes, I admit I was once one of those poor foolish GWFs that would run out to greet the mobs only to have to run back to the HR to kill whats left of the mobs but then one day I said "screw it, Im just gonna wait right here next to the HR" and low and behold the mobs came to running towards my swinging blade.
Sometimes, its just easier to change tactics rather then complain.

Why not just do what every other mmo range does, wait 3 seconds then shoot your pointy arrows =P .. Seriously there actually may be reasons to engage enemies at certain spots. If in fact a HR pulls and survives a mob pack.. that is exactly the issue this game has, that just shouldn't happen. You should be dead as soon as they reach you, as in any other mmos I know of. You cant even go back ten levels on a epic dungeon in other games and do them with a heavy class, let alone a squishy. But this game should have HALF the mobs, but hit twice as hard, this alone would fix most of the imbalance issues we have.
I decided to check out the preview before commenting on the HR nerf but having now done so, I can confirm it makes the ranger unplayable. Perhaps the devs could explain why they think the killing off of the Ranger class is so necessary, because I sure don't see it.
Why fix what ain't broke?
Having spent all that time and money levelling this highly enjoyable character, I am rewarded by making it redundant??
I hear World of Tanks is a good game...

Bug
The below information isnt correct, got to level 62 (or over level twice) and you have given me rank 2/3 enchants only no AD and no Tombs of experience ? lovely !
Post-60 Advancement
Players who have reached Level 60 will now be able to apply their accumulated experience toward new rewards! When players hit the level cap, the experience bar will now turn blue with a special icon for the "next level" end of the bar.
Each time the experience bar is filled, the player is presented with a new reward. The rewards include:
Power Points!
Just like the points gained while leveling, these points can be spent on purchasing or ranking up powers up to the maximum rank of 3.
Power Points will no longer be rewarded when the player gains enough to rank every power up to 3.
Tomes of Experience and Tomes of Companion Experience!
These tomes are bound to your account, so if you have another character or a new companion you want to get up and running quickly, just send these tomes over through in-game mail, or save them up for later.

If the attack of mage is reduced about 80%, it'll remain the strongest class of game xD
And this is so funny

You are talking about PVE right?
CW is a joke compared to perma TR and GWF in PVP.
