I wish MY rogue could always stay stealthed AND use offensive encounters.
I wish MY rogue couldn't be targeted while in stealth.
I wish MY ITC had no cooldown.
I wish MY IS hurt more than just CWs.
I wish I could easily solo all classes, and not just inept CWs.

Everyone already knows Rogues are the face-roll class of NWO. Everyone.
Most of the ones I see spam literally 1 or 2 moves over and over. That's their entire treasure trove of "skill." They're like someone starting a race 3 inches from the finish line.
The wailing and gnashing of teeth you see in this thread are those terrified of losing their "I win" class.
This is the truth. Most of the people arguing with the op are rogues.
Rogues are like the kids that got picked on in high school so they vowed that one day they would become invisible to they could "confront" their enemies. Ok... not all rogues... but most of them. XD
I agree with Banelorne's approach of increased run speed. However, one of two weakness to a Sent GWF is a ITC high DPS rogue. The other being a skilled GF, so I do not think ITC should have a decrease in damage.
This is not true at all. The best counter to a Sent GWF is a cleric. There are not many rogues or guardian fighters that can kill a good GWF - at least 1v1. But paired with a cleric, and it's a nightmare for Sent GWFs.
Not sure where you came up with the idea that a GF would be a counter to a Sent GWF... ok maybe a crit one that was super talented with his shield could kill a Sent GWF... but it would take like 10 minutes.
The argument about that artifact is also bogus. You could just turn it on its head and argue that TR stealth is nerfing the advantages of other classes, both ranged and melee, by simply being what it is. The unique advantage of a CW or HR is to hit and control stuff from range. So that particular whine about that artifact is more than a bit hypocritical.
This is the dumbest thing I have seen on these forums to date.....I mean ????
He is talking about a item introduced well into the game for the sole purpose of revealing stealth, a skill that one class has. That indicates it is purely to negate the core ability of one class. What you are talking about is the defensive ability of of a class that has been in existance and balanced against other class skills from the start of the game, its like saying that healing or heavy armor are a nerf to dmg dealing. Its like making you go into combat with no gear on any other class, leaving you wide open to be destroyed.
TR's have been nerfed over and over due to all the tears from the start of the game, ppl wanting to deal the same dmg as the striker class. I walked away from the game for some time as it was getting pathetic, when the game came out it claimed to be keeping true to D&D and that has not been the case as all others before it it has caved in to the will of the PvP tissue brigade. Sure nerf TR's, get ride of the striker role, give us heavy armour, group heals and a bunch of CC and there is no issue cause then we can still fill the roll that apparently all the tear jerkers think we should be in.......any thing but dps.
I mean really, in what game did rogues not have high dps? how the hell is this a new concept? they have it in every game because they are defensively weaker and stealth is there saving grace from total annihilation every time they spawn. My challenge would be for you to play a TR and PvP with no stealth use and see how you go, if you honestly go well them maybe you have a point but I am pretty sure every other class in the game will destroy you.
Have to admit I am a little amazed that there is still this much crying with rangers out. All that burst from range, I thought tears would be flowing like no other over them.
Every class has an Achilles tendon, you just gotta be smart enough to do your own research and find it. Look at other guides and see how the other classes work. If you find it so annoying, do something about it without QQing because the truth of the matter is: the GMs and Devs will do what they can to make the pvp as balanced as possible, and if you still think opponent classes are OP, then you are either
1) Not utilizing your class's strengths or
2) Unknowingly utilizing your class's weakness(that's a fail btw).

I find this thread funny because PVP TR "balances" have pretty much destroyed the class in PVE. What this game needs is a separation of PVP/PVE skills/gear. If they balance something off of PVP leave it alone in PVE, or vice versa. That would be a big start towards increasing gameplay in both areas. There is one class that definitely needs a balance in both PVP and PVE and it's not TR.
Funny thread. So many newbs will always be unhappy about the TR mechanic, not understanding that if the TR is perma-stealthing, he isn't optimizing his character as he does little damage. I can most surely destroy all of the whiners in this thread without the use of Stealth. That would give you something to complain about, wouldn't it? Learn to build your characters properly and stop whining.
I have 4 classes that are 60 and with T2 gear and rank 7+ enchant and greaters
Out of all 4 classes I play I can tell TR is op, because how effective it is, I only use a normal vorpal on my TR and a lesser bilethorn and pwning pugs are so easy, I can get kills really easy and escape death easily as well.
TR's kit offers great kill potential and great escape, whoever claim TR is not OP are either a **** player that has no clue what he is talking or he is a high end player that play around with people that are mostly BIS, in that case TR is not OP. But in general normal PVP match or light-duty premade TR owns.
Most of the ones I see spam literally 1 or 2 moves over and over.
What moves do you "literally" see?
You clearly are talking utter nonsense as the TR's will no doubt be smashing into you with everything which is at their disposal. Why would anyone ignore an ability which is ready for use just to "spam literally 1 or 2 moves"...? Absolute nonsense and you've highlighted yourself as someone not worth listening to so, at the least, we can thank you for highlighting that to us...
OP, get over it. A TR's abilities cannot be segregated into PVE and PVP, just because you're getting your head served to you. Either make one, don't play PvP, get better gear or - and this is, I feel, is the real issue - learn to play!
Many MMO's have countless threads where people such as you, OP, decided to whinge and beg and moan so that someone else's class gets penalised, just because poor little Johnny keeps getting his virtual HAMSTER smacked. Go play Tetris...
Rogues are like the kids that got picked on in high school so they vowed that one day they would become invisible to they could "confront" their enemies. Ok... not all rogues... but most of them. XD
Your like the kid in high skill that vowed to make a valid contribution and got caught, hiding in the corner with a box a crayons up his nose. Okay... not all the crayons... but most of them. XD
See...we can all do that.
Don't let the door slam you on the way out, chief.

This is the one post that sums it all up succinctly. Putting all personal opinions aside for one moment, you will see that what is said here is the resounding truth.

Can u tell me how long is the lantern cd and how long is a PVP match usually last?
Don't even let me mention that the Blood Raven is so much more useful.
And last dude are u even a good pvp player?
