Definitely. I'm not sure we have anything like an "A" team. I just know I'm not on it (slightly under-geared compared to other CWs in our guild). But we have plenty of good players. I'd like to see one of each class, if that's cool. Best way to keep some semblance of balance.

I see where your coming from and:
1) The video wasnt MEANT to show challenging 1v1s or "skill" its just meant as entertainment and also to show undergeareed/lvling TRs hey look what good gear can accomplish.
2) One of the biggest reasons I only put short clips in is that I HAD a video of long duration challenging fights and ALL the feedback I got was that it was too long and too boring because lets face it, there isnt alot of action going on.
3) Another issue is that if I record in high quality after about 1-2 min the file becomes SO large in size that it start severely cutting my FPS down to below 15 which makes it unplayable AND unrecordable. I can easily maintain about 60 FPS for ~2min straight of filming at max settings. I either have to record "half resolution" OR drop settings which I really dont like doing because then even good pvp footage becomes undesirable. So my choice was good quality clips, or bad quality long duration matches. I then took the feedback I told you in 1) and it was a no brainer.
4) I personally like pvp kill clips. I PERSONALLY find long duration fights boring because well... there isnt alot of variety in this game. Once youve seen one TR video youve pretty much seen them all and ontop of that, its not like there is this insanely high skill cap in this game so even showing long duration hard fights isnt going to show what you want of "showing off uber skill".
5) People keep saying stuff like "show 1v1s" or whatever. I keep pointing out that my ROLE as a TR in a group of 5 is to do what, execute and quickly kill people. I do this with high lashings (that btw DO actually take skill to set up and I explained this earlier) and use impact shots out of stealth to kill even further. If I play my ROLE correctly, I will NEVER be in a 1v1 situation. There is no point to be.
If you want to see a "backcap TR" that is not me. I have a Regen Sent GWF to play that role and when I have a group if we DONT have that roll, I fill it with my GWF. If we DO have a backcapper, I fill the DPS spot with my TR who 1 shots most CWs on the server. Since THAT is my role, ANY footage you see of me is going to be me 1 shotting a CW followed with attacking opponents WITH A GROUP of teammates.
Dont believe I 1 shot almost any CW? I have 27.5% arp. I know MAX DR CWs get slightly under 30% DR so basically nothing. On a Dummy I lashing crit for 23k consistently so unless you have more than 23k HP, you wont live. I also have impacts and COS if you somehow DO survive and have a sliver left.
From there my ROLE is to DPS another already burnt target down to death and move on. I play "clean up". So your never going to see what your looking for out of TR videos. UNLESS you find a backcap TR who thats his role, then you might find that "skillful" 1v1 but I will say this again. 90% of the time when I end up backcapping even in pugs, I see a TR/CW/ or most DCs, I can easily 1-2 shot them so that wont be skillful either.
What It SEEMS you are looking for is me 1v1 a Sent GWF at backcap and struggling to win... well I have said this before so I will say it again. I have not lost once to a TR on my GWF so I dont except to be able to do that on my TR. So I dont do it and especially wouldnt try to record it because even if I DID come out ontop, you would just result back to a "he wasnt that geared/skilled" comment.
If it makes you feel better you can know that TRs cant beat good GWFs 1v1. I dont think they can be beaten 1v1 to be honest the BESt you can do is negate them by having an "unkillable" match.
So what is it you are looking for here?
Uh, thanks for explanation I guess lol.
What I am looking for is the same video, just the people you kill should be some known PVPers, what server you are on?
There are several really good players/ teams..
If you PVP a lot and do premades VS good teams, you understand the game is completely different from a PUG..
Achieving solid kills in a premade match is 1000x more worthy that doing the same in a pug.
So in the end the video would look the same, but I would appreciate it 1000x more if I would see frags of known good players

Can you show us your power-crit(with %) and armor pen? actually i have 2,7k power-3k crit(50%) and 3k armor pen(26,3% ignore)with vorpal 25% severity dmg but i cant do your damage, i will to know my defiance if is possible:)
i havent castle never/malaborg set weapons.Ice dagger(470 max dmg) and T2 offhand(481 max dmg)
when will impact shot be nerfed?
dont get me wrong, i also rolled a TR for PvP funsies (17.5k GF as main) but this ability just disgusts me. impact shot has 3 charges (+1 in stealth) that deal ~11-13k crit dmg per charge (maybe even more with p vorp/rank10s).
it's safe to say this is the most stupid spell in game.

It's a mage killer, for sure. One LB + one IS and I'm toast. I remember before the recent patch a TR took me out with two IS (16k crit each), most likely from Lurker's. Ouch.

Well, to be honest there are alot of complications with what you are asking. I understand WHY you are asking it but let me point something out.
KNOWN pvpers seldom PUG. So, if I want to pvp AGAINST known PVPers, I have to end up stacking a premade group. If I stack a premade group, we RARELY get matches that last longer than 1 min before the other team quits. If we DO, its because its a pre vs pre scenario and like I pointed out, if thats what we are doing, MOST of my time then will be spent on my Sent GWF.
The other reason its harder to get that footage is that its also not as impressive. Just being frank here. My lashing blade hits a DC in shield for 14k+ and then impact for 6-7 kish and get another1 to finish the deal off if needed. I even HAVE a clip like this in there already and almsot took it out because its not impressive. Is it really going to change the video at all?
To me its WAY less impressive since any average TR can get a 14k lashing. I would rather have flame about not having "ultra geared" players and show off the damage side. Again, if I want to try and post "skill" video I run into complications with record time and not quite as impressive damage in SOME scenarios.
You can ask around and I can STILL get this kind of damage on any TR/CW out there because my ARP is so high. The only thing that hits less again is geared tanks/DCs and while it might be good for growing my e-peen, I didnt set out to brag. I just set out to show POSSIBLE damage with my build and play style.
Which, by the way, is pretty unique in that I havnt seen TRs play the way I do. PVP clips do not show this, so maybe I will post a longer duration video.
If you provide a list of the "known pvpers" that YOU know, I can try and arrange a premade against them and make a video of that?
But again the purpose of the video is:
1) Just for fun - gives me purpose to pvp
2) To show the possible damage that geared TRs can achieve
3) Well, just for YOUR entertainment. I tried (obviously) to sync the music to the action and well whats impressive about a 14k lashing on a high DR target that I slow mo down... nothing really... But is a 38k crit impressive? Shoot not many TRs can reach that kind of damage so Id say so...
So it seems we look through different glasses my friend. I say, I want to showcase the highest damage I can because most people cant do that. You seem to approach it from a "most TRs cant play HAMSTER well against other GOOD players".
So we are using a different measuring stick to judge the video.
All in all, thanks for you honest feedback and maybe my next vid will be highlights from JUST my premades.
Can you show us your power-crit(with %) and armor pen? actually i have 2,7k power-3k crit(50%) and 3k armor pen(26,3% ignore)with vorpal 25% severity dmg but i cant do your damage, i will to know my defiance if is possible:)

Really nice video:)
My PVE set is power stacking because I have nothing else to stack. I use the 2 pc 2 pc set for extra power and have something like 5.5kISH. (been a little while since ive even PVEd).
My PVP set off the top of my head I have over 3k power. Im at 49.8 % crit chance with fire buff and have 27.5% armor pen (around 3100ish I believe).
Power is worthless in pvp, arp is god mode and crit is well... really nice with executioner.
Also if you are on mindflayer server add me and I will show you how to get that damage. I made a post about it a while ago and how you have to SET IT UP to do that damage. Most TRs again dont play like I do and dont use my "combo" if you will and so their lashings dont even come close.
I often get accused of only "using lurkers" to kill people when I get 23k lashings. I point out I am not and then PROVE it by getting a 30k+ one on them later in the match when I DO have it up.
To get over 33k range, you need debuffs though since I cant break 34k on target dummies with 0 DR (with my arp included here).

TY for the answer, after this post, i'll try to play like you(with combo and powers like you it's hard without ITC but i love the challenge). my max dmg(LB) with combo and lukers
vs GWF:23,5k pug - premade vs my guild without luker and gwf geared sentinel regen was 11,5k

vs DC:like CW but ONE DC let's me schoked because my average vs him was 5-7k-.-
vs TR: 20k
So 38k?Castle never weapons or i wrong someting else?
my rings it's pirotecnic and purple with gems pants and clothes: average gems 6(in pvp) 7 (pve) but i can improve the gg's set

Youve done the combo of having First Strike up, using CoS to crit and proc Crit overrun and then waiting to get out of combat to use LB?
Do this versus dummies because in pvp its hard to say if noone debuffed the target. I mean I have had over 30k lashings on targets without lurkers just because a GWF had 3 SoTs procs on the target.
The best/worst crit lashing I have gotten is versus very geared DCs who are speced close to 50% DR who stand in shield. When that happens my crits are for only like 12-14k. If not in shield its closer to 16k+ on those same targets.
Personally I dont like ITC, I think its really cheap and I also prefer to use shadow to restealth and reset up the combo when needed. The other nice thing is that you can recloak, throw a dagger to proc crit overrun and get an in stealth impact off and with the same "combo" as above, You can easily get 13-15k impacts. Again on high DR targets it drops.
I use ancient ring of cleaving. I like the balance there of arp/power/LS. If tried to find higher arp rings but really couldnt without giving up alot of power.
The real basic math (from memory) is that 1 weapon damage increase = about 5 damage to your base lashing blade. About 5 power = close to 1 increased damage to lashing blade.
So while the difference from 22 weapon damage = only 110 damage on lashing tooltip. My tooltip in stealth is something like 7000 on the top end so my ancients dagger is a 1.57% damage increase (rough math).
110 damage add in all the crit severity a PERF vorpal adds etc and my lashing will hit about 400 damage more than yours (if you had perf vorp)
Since you have regular vorpal the damage different is probably closer to 300 (at MAX damage) for you to upgrade to ancients. So it IS worth it but its not a HUGE increase.
Going from normal vorp to greater vorp is going to be a better upgrade.
Also upgrading from rank 7-8 isnt much of a difference. Do the math though but another 40 ARP on a dark 8 will give you like .3% more armor ignored. So thats an effective .3% damage boost.
Again with 7000 a .3% increase is 21 more damage... add crit severity blah blah and your looking at 60 more damage? Not a big deal...
R7s are probably close to the best bang for buck you can get. Its high enough to hit caps easily and provide significant damage boost without costing an arm and a leg to get.
If you have a very nice bankroll r8s help some... but not a TON.

Np. I average 33kish with lurkers on dummies and anywhere from 22-24k without it. But thats a perfect vorpal so your numbers will be a little lower.
Just try it multiple times (I do 10 times a piece) and write down that number. Then you can try different things to get higher.
Ive messed around with the "passive" or feature or w.e that gives 15% more damage after using a daily to combine with lurkers but its so situational its not worth it.
15% more damage on lashing as "first strike" is very good though.
That's some pretty awesome montage. I was surprised at the number of negative posts... it's entertainment and showing his best kills, people. But that conversation is pretty much done.
So, I currently have a perma stealth rogue. He's pretty fun, but not that effective at killing due to relatively low damage. And your argument that every class has a role they're best at in pvp is pretty compelling. I was looking to reset anyways, so is there any chance you'd be willing to reveal your stat points distribution, ayroux? Maybe even some feats? I'm wondering if you took the str bonus damage or stealth duration ones. I know you said a skilled rogue would figure it out, and I understand if you would like to keep your current build a secret, but I guess I'd like some guidance shoved down my throat. Playing a suboptimal character always makes me want to cry.
In any case, I was entertained by the video, so good job. Really makes me want to try it for myself, though the farming for that level of gear would kill me. Oh wells, something to work towards!
I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for posting that video. That was an epic demonstration of how much of a pay to win game this is. I knew this to be true but did not have the real impact of it until watching your vid. I'm quitting the game in search of something that is more skill dependent. Please note this is NOT a bash in any way and I hope you continue to enjoy the game. Just my honest opinion and TY for saving me wasting any more time on this product.

Well the basics are that I went for max Dex. If you think about it, if you have crit severity over 100% 1% increase in crit is OVER a 1% increase in damage output. As far as getting the highest absolute possible numbers? Stacking STR will be beneficial.
Feats are fairly simple as well and I did get improved cunning sneak (or w.e its called). STR bonus damage is almost worthless, they really need to buff that imo. If you think about it, if you have 20 str. thats a 10% damage boost. Well increaseing the bonus damage by 6% OF 10% = a .6% damage boost. Thats it. .6% more damage for 3 points thats worthless.
You need increased stealth in order to do my combo that I outlined previously, well atleast to make it a viable strategy.
The most important feats IMO are:
1) Imp Cunning sneak.
2) Underhanded tactics
3) Speed swindle
4) Brutal Backstab
5) Critical Overrun
Those are not in any particular order btw.
#1 gives you more time to set up the damage boost that first strike AND crit overrun gives.
#2 gives you pure more damage. While stealthed you have CA on targets so this is a flat damage boost.
#3 Works VERY well in COS critting to proc critoverrun, it makes them less mobile and you more mobile, again really helps that set up.
#4 25% more severity?! Free Vorpal enchant? Yes please!
#5 This is an insane damage boost. I dont know if crit severity includes things like your enchants, but I know I do WAY more damage when this is up than when its not... I mean thousands more on my lashing blade crits. This + first strike = HUGE numbers.
Thats the basics. I also prefer skulkers set because of the stealth bonus - again more time to set up. Vorpal enchant is a must (no news here).
other then that, knock yourself out with however you want to play.
I have been called "bad" by alot of other TRs before and I do not play like "typical" TRs out there with the ITC encounter.
My playstyle = stay cloaked as long as possible for CA+more crit severity which is why I am feated for it AND use skulkers. Its a math game to me there... Which is why I also like shadow strike to restealth. It not only gives a damage boost, I am harder to target now, AND I have a different count of impact shots from my regular OOS ones.
Sometimes I do my combo then use shadow to restealth just to do at wills because I then do more damage and right when I am about to leave stealth again, use a stealth impact shot.
That is just MY play style. Its NOT the best 1v1 build in game and its also not designed to be. I have NOT 1v1d alot of good TRs but I will tell you that when I have been in 1v1 situations I have rarely lost. Not claiming skill there but a TR 1v1 is about who gets the opener.
My PVP THEORY goes back to what is your ROLE in pvp. My TR is set up as the "executioner".
One thing I have learned in PVP is its not about DPS or pure damage output but WHEN you have the BURST dps that matters.
So instead of using flurry and ITC to have more "dps" "facetank" type TR - which IS a very strong build. I prefer a "wait in the shadows" and "specifically time my attacks" type of build. Overall I might dish out less DPS on average but the damage I DO dish out typically kills targets.
I am NOT bragging or saying my build is the best, its just how I prefer to play and people that play with me know that it is effective. Its not the "backcap" "pointholder" TR - although I CAN do those things. Its more the "executioner".
Thats my PVP philosophy. Call me a ****, I would admit I am always striving to learn more, I have tried the ITC flurry build and just dont like it. Thats just me.
