A while back I said I would post my father's sword and my own sword. Many months later, I finally get around to it.
The one on the left is my father's sword. He got it for Christmas 1979 when we were stationed in Rota Spain. It was bought in a store called The Duck Shop, an open antique store that looked more like someone's back yard. The guard is cast-brass and the blade is an excellent forged steel that has an excellent bend that always snaps back.
My sword is the white handled one. It was bought at the local sword store from our local mall in 2006 for Christmas. It's guard is fashioned steel with what I'm guessing is a plastic handle (I don't think it's bone or white wood, at least). The blade itself is similarly forged steel that doesn't quite have the same bend as my father's sword, but it's still rather nice.
My father's sword can use a finger-hook grip or not, while the shorter handle on mine requires the finger-hook (apologies for the layman description of the handles. I'm afraid I don't know the proper nomenclature).

I've got my light brown hair now days, but this was me not so long ago with my awesome hair colors done by my friend.
Since I creep on these type of threads all the time, but never actually post.
(Making faces at my dog, reason for awkward facial expression.)
good excuse.. haha

Thanks jezynamalina! Your hair is awesome, i change mine so many times. I'm actually suprised i still have hair.
Probably been nearly every colour i can think of, apart from purple but i did have a plum shade so i guess that counts.
The mint green was orginally blue but i started fading it out
Red
Black
Pink
Now i'm trying to continue to get white, so many pictures xD
Could you help explain to my wife that when a girl colors her hair all sorts of vibrant colors it's not a desperate cry for help but a way of being fun? Every time I mention to her that I think it's a cute idea if our daughter were to do so in the future (she's 6) so she goes nuts.

BTW, you're totes adorb (did I do that right?).
Cry for help? Help with what? o.O That is one of the weirdest things i've heard.. I have always loved vibrant, bright and different colours and because of my interest in hair and make up i guess i just thought i'd experiment with different colours. I want to go into Hairdressing and Makeup Artistry but i'm currently studying nursing. There are many reasons why people dye their hair unusual colours, we don't have to be like sheep and all look and dress the same. We all have our own unique style and things we like and don't like. If your daughter decides to dye her hair in the future, my advice to her would be to look after it and try to keep it as healthy as possible

No, you're not the only asian player. I know at least two other players personally who are of oriental decent but I would rather not be giving out their personal info.

I know 850 posts are a lot to look through, but if you find the time to look through the whole thread you'll see several asian players have already posted their photos. We have a very diverse group in our community here, so cool!

I really had to work for that picture, this is what he normally looks like:
I've raised him since he was 11 weeks old. And i couldn't be more proud of the result! A true bon vivant.
