Your that guy on the mast of asinking ship shouting its not going down.

And you're the guy hollering about the ship sinking while it's still in port. The game's been out how long? Something about chickens, and counting, and hatching...

Actually most of us stopped "ranting" cause we saw cryptic didn't give a **** and finally called it quits. Seeing as how we don't play the game anymore there's no reason to make posts even though I can very much still do so. Only reason I came was to check why the launcher triggered my virus detection. Turns out they upgraded it to 64 bit because 64 bit cheat engine was undetectable and being used to change client side game values to hilarious results.

Good to see Cryptic still fails at making a game that passes even the basic test of not being able to be edited with a simple flash game hack tool. Loving the oblivious circle jerk that's alive and well on the forums though.

    Enjoy the Foundry.

Bwhahahahahah omg good stuff, good stuff.

For one these forums are LITTERED with unhappy customers. I've never seen a gaming forum so filled with complaints.. It's already surpassed the recent Sim City release.

The fact is, most of the people I know have quit playing and are in limbo waiting to see if this game can recover. Extrapolate that across all the people that have paid money for this. Not to mention people have already trickled back to whatever game they left. Wow, GW2, LOTRO, TSW all reporting recent population boosts, hell even Darkfall.

Fanboys crack me up. Your that guy on the mast of asinking ship shouting its not going down.
    1. And yet...YOU dropped $200 on the game. And then using the term "Fanboys?!" Thrown stones <> Glass houses
    2. "...surpased the recent Sim City release." Citation of your source please?
    3. "...Wow, LOTRO, TSW all reporting recent population boosts..." Citation of your source please?
    4. "...most of the people [you] know..." does NOT necessarily constitute a valid litmus of the community at large.
    5. Gaming forums are generally populated by a VAST minority of the total community for a given title. While it's an invaluable resource for many Community Team Leaders, most realize that it succumbs to the so-called "1% Rule", and respond commensurately.
    6. "Your that guy..." That would be "You're that guy..." Grammar Police credentials available upon request. :p

To be honest I'm just waiting to see what happens with companions.Doesn't make sense to me to have them stop at 15 when your max is 60.Even with the purples they don't reach high enough levels. That and what happened to the Foundry games. It seemed like a overreation. They should of just targeted the mods that were being exploited. At least imho. There are a lot of good things about the game and I don't think it will be stagnate. So I will keep popping in on occasion.

There are going to be a a way to train you Companions beyond 15 coming at least that is what the devs said in Alpha, my big want is to be able to customize your companions like you can the BO in star trek....the limited character creator and lack of customization really let me down.

the only reason it was ever in the top 10 in views on twitch is because of Kripparian....which he doesnt stream anymore....which is why it has dropped off...he brings in 3-5k viewers every day regardless of which game hes playing....even if its minesweeper

The items you mention are to upgrade the quality of you companion, thus letting you get higher level with it. The limits on white or purple companions, etc, will stay the same. That's the info I found when I was looking around anyway.

I'd say that has more to do with what is affectionately known as "The Barnacle Effect" than anything else. I've watched Kripp's streams... if only it had the same sense of drama and tension as, oh say...paint drying.

I've watched a few of his YouTube videos on builds and strategy (PoE player) and they're actually very informative. He comes across as a decent enough guy. I would never just sit and watch someone else play a video game though, and I will never understand the people that do.

Wouldn't be surprised. It's a group oriented play model.
The concept of teamwork is completely absent in the player base, but the game mechanics absolutely demand it.
The loot system is totally anti social also, and easily abused.
My overall feeling is that NWO can only be enjoyed with a pre made group. PUGs completely suck.
That seems antithetical to an MMO style game. Call it a 5MO instead, 5 Man Online.
PUG'ging dungeons is frustrating, irritating, and aggravating. I don't play much any more unless my regular team is all on line, which isn't all that often. After the most recent rage inducing PUG, much anymore might become never.
I don't play games that routinely make me this frustrated and angry.
I love the game mechanics of it though, and will probably play with the pre made group when able to.

I noticed viewership in neverwinter is never in the top 10 viewed in twitch. Any reason why?

Most games people watch on twitch are highly competitive/just new (people seeing if they'd like the game to buy/play.) this game isn't that "New" anymore people are playing it/not and this game isn't designed to be highly competitive. In other words the game is fine.

You were boring before, now you are getting ridiculously bad at this. But go on Don Quixote, the windmills are a-waiting.
For people interested in reality, no the numbers seem the same as usual, probably the exploiters got replaced by others players.
For the ones interested in drama, go on, you are as entertaining as usual (except asko, dude you really have to take a break)

Does it matter if a million human/bot/exploiter/cats all start playing this game to take the place of a million human/bot/exploiter/cats?

If the game is garbage you will still get people playing the game, the amount of players, is nothing to do with the amount of money they squeeze out of people. Players are equivalent to content, but whales are solitary creatures, so doesn't really matter to them much does it.

Since you obviously haven't gleaned this up to this point let me detail it for you in crayon. Your opinion holds absolutely zero value with me. Your obviously a spoiled bratty random kid that thinks anyone that doesn't share your exact opinion is wrong.

Cya. Buh bye.... your rage is boring me at this point.

For those of you just tuning in.. this is what the clown calls a "child babbling":

"Ummmm yea... have you been under a rock? You'll get the usual fanboiee responses saying no but look at these forums. Look in game. "

So if that is a child babbling what in earth does he think about the thousands of other posts.

I think you meant "it holds absolutely zero value with ME". Otherwise, dunno what you are trying to say. And .. rage?? spoiled brat? I think we got to the point where it's better to put you down.... What part of my post is raging? You sure you not reading yours?

PS I have just reported you after your edit, feel free to do the same and the mods will determine who is insulting who

Neverwinter was steadily rank 2 from about 12pm - midnight days before the exploit went viral. I know because I would monitor streams while working... I enjoyed them... this "people are playing" trash defense is just the delusional who had no idea this game was so popular on twitch.

You're the guy who was claiming that Warcraft started as a table-top game in the other thread and DEFENDING his claim, right? AND YOU STILL DARE TO ARGUE ABOUT ANYTHING IN THESE FORUMS?

Around that time several high profile users got banned. Kripparian alone brought thousands of viewers into his twitch stream. After he got banned these people left. He deserved his ban in all honesty.

Depends on your timezone but he always streamed. Irrelevant anyway but yeah. He wasn't the only big one that got banned. There was also the people who believe the economy was completely destroyed "After the fix" and had the knee jerk reaction to abandon ship because there was no wipe. Which.. the auction house shows things are fine. Other than epics being so cheap but that's also due to the ease of obtaining epics. Enchants are where the money is at.
