The ridiculous implementation of their cash suck shop killed me long before all these exploits polluted the game.

I guess I should have learned with CO and STO - Cryptic just can't implement and manage a good MMO.

What i dont understand is , there is a poll with 70% ppl asking for a full wipe , why they dont wake up and listen the community?

yep, that was the base for my 6-months theory. It was obvious the game would die a fast death with such a fierce monetization scheme, but I counted on the delluded IP fanbois to drag this trainwreck along for a few more months.

    but now this...hilarious.

I think it will last a couple of months before the last die-hards finally comes to their senses.

There will be more exploits and short rollbacks, there will be NO class balancing but maybe a new class will be introduced and obviously a lot more will go up on the ZEN store.

It is fairly lively for being a dead game.

Seeing i cant post a new thread. i will just post here..

This is to all you people who think the roll back did anything but make the majority of the population happy.

I have known about this AH exploit since before this open beta started.
it was reported numbers of times throughout the closed beta.
Upon the release of "Open Beta" aka soft launch, i tested the exploit again.
    It was still active!!

i have over 4 billion astral diamonds on 4 different accounts that have not been rolled back past my acquire date of said diamonds.
Yes i plan to continue to use them as i see fit...
    This is beta after all...

    Enjoy.

those was players who just used the exploit as a excuse to get a free reroll on there toons .. in other words they was trying to exploit the downtime

That poll doesn't represent the community. It represents the fraction of the community that actually reads the forums that could be bothered to post in a poll that can't possibly represent the feelings of the majority of players.

Something that annoys me even more then the 4 levels I lost and the 12 or 15k AD ( I'm getting it the old fashion way ), is the fact that I lost 6 days of Praying at those dang alters for the Celestial coins or whatever you call them.

Woke up today and logged in to pray for the last day and get my Wards on two different characters and my 6 days of accumulated Celestial Coins are gone and I'm back to 0.

This is the first game I've played from this company, but honestly they don't appear to be able to run a very efficient MMO.

Main issue is that (unless proven otherwise) the forum posters are usually a SMALL fraction of the whole population. Even WoW show a fraction (even the Dev said so) so we are the vocal minority.
To grow old is inevitable, to grow up is optional.

I am on the fence what to do,I have a 20 man guild to run.I guess I will see what the guys do,whether they continue or not. But the more I read, the deeper I dig,the more off putting the smell gets to continue.

only the account i acquired them with was banned..
They "so far" have been unable to track the diamonds floating from character to character more than one xfer.

I'll give the game 3 months or less then a sharp 40%+ decrease in player population.

I kinda agree, I mean all the super casual players that just log in play a little solo and nothing else will probably not like a wipe, but lets face it they aren't the ones that will play this game long term anyway, so the poll might be more accurate than you think

And what empirical data are you basing this conclusion on? How do you have ANY CLUE what percentage of the people that have purchased this game also browse the forums?

    You don't.

well seeing as how thats normal for f2p mmo's i will agree with you but the 60% that stay will be the subbers so they will still live and thrive

The fact that message boards typically represent only 1 - 5% of the actual active player base.

An another obtuse statement based on no empirical data what-so-ever... too funny.

::sigh:: nope that is based on repeated research done in MMO's over the years. Generally MMO message boards have at best 5% of the players posting. The reality is that it is typically more like 1% of the player base posting. And that is true for all MMO's.

Which is why it is always fun to watch the crowds of self important posters claiming to speak for everyone.
