I understand its open beta and such and whatever is going on but the exploits on being able to farm the highest dungeons and all is just to much.

Half of our guild left the game due to those exploit and the economy is bassicly completely ruined.

I do understand that some ppl dont wanne reroll and dont mind it all.

So why not just satisfy the other big half that do mind and that are still intrested in the game but just cant handle all the huge drawback and give us a new shard ?

Eventually your plan is to merge all over time so what does 1 extra shard matter ... nothing just satisfied customers !!!

Then what? Someone finds the slightest most insignificant exploit and makes a Post about it, maybe a cheesy little youtube clip and what?

Do it again? Start a whole new server again?

Please share with us specifically how these supposed exploits affected you and half your guild that left the game. Enlighten us of the direct impact they had.

How many of those items had you been selling previous to the exploit? What were you selling them for? How many do you have left over? How much can you sell them for now? How much AD have you lost?

How many if any of your Guild mates were able to procure said items and at what great discount did they get them at since there were sooo many?

Why was it that your Guild mates getting the supposed exploited drops at a reduced cost cause them to leave the game?

What specific item were you planning on buying last week that you now can't afford do to the exploit? Please share with us the details so we can better understand and support your cause.

Because all I have heard on these forums is "I heard that so and so did this and that and ruined the game!!!!" ~ Completely vacant of any details or specifics as to how anything has been ruined.

All the shards will be merged into one mega-server once the game goes "live" (like it isn't already). This is the way Cryptic does all their games. It's the way Star Trek Online is done, it's the way Champions Online is done, and there's no reason to think they'll do it any differently for Neverwinter.

People need to get this out of their heads; Cryptic is not Blizzard, they don't do 50 different servers. They do one, and only one, divided up into different instances of the same overworld maps.

    EDIT: Okay I admit I just skimmed through the post without reading it all, but still;

    >"Eventually your plan is to merge all over time so what does 1 extra shard matter ... nothing just satisfied customers !!!"

If you acknowledge that all will be merged eventually, then why does it matter indeed? How would any customer be satisfied with that knowing that they'll all get lumped back into the pile they're trying to avoid anyway? It's pointless.

You keep running around posting how these exploits don't hurt anyone - obviously you're guilty of exploiting.

But riddle me this shelock holmes, HOW does making a new shard hurt you? Exactly how? Tell us.
Right. That's what I thought. So based on your own argument, you need to s-t-****.

Yup, no idea why people are calling for a new "Fresh" Server. Even if they did it, few weeks/months down the road when they merge all those exploiters that people are so envious of (I'm still trying to figure out why people care) will be back. And three fold as they will be from ALL the existing servers

I would like to know specifically how you believe these exploits hurt the game for you. Seeing as how real money can be converted to AD, it makes absolutely no sense when one claims that the economy is ruined by this. State your argument without resorting to insults, please.

Just ignore him. It's quite obvious he either exploited this or benefited by someone who did. It's been posted many times how the exploiters benefit greatly.

    1) It separates the player base. That effects me directly. That has a direct effect on the population of the game and the player base. Particularly new players.

    2) If an exploit occurs on the new server, Then what? Create another? Then another? Separating the players even more?

CAN ONE FREAKING PERSON HERE WHO IS CRYING ABOUT ALL THESE EXPLOITS AND RUINED ECONOMY GIVE US ONE SPECIFIC DETAIL ON HOW IT EFFECTED THEM!?!?! Cause this is nothing than Chicken Little and the Sky is Falling!

But if he doesn't know, isn't that a sign that all the shinnanigans and exploits really aren't making much of a difference?

I mean if this was a sandbox PvP game, absolutely it would be a problem.

Hey there well let me explain you how it bothers me and some other friends, bassicly we inputted sooo many hours into the game and try to make our own profit legit ...

then you have some exploiters cming along farming the instances that couldnt be farmed in a few mins killing the bosses so many times over and over and over to flood the AH so bassicly every item becomes worthless in the 1st 3 weeks of an game release ...

now you tell me where you dont see the problem in my last description, I understand this might not bother you but for some that payed for some Founder Packs it does !!!!

I payed for the founder pack as well. Is the only issue that you are scared of auction house prices dropping so you can make less of a profit?

They didn't get to sell l33t epixxx for big profits, because a few other people leveled faster than them and then flooded the market, ruining their dreams of being a rich AH wheeler-dealer. (i.e, "economy destroyed" means "I didn't get to squeeze awesome profits out of it")

Well you said it, envy is the greatest of motivators. It's been the cause of many wars. These people are jealous whether they admit it or not, hell I know I am. But still, whatever someone else has no impact on my enjoyment of this game.

A new shard will fix nothing. Its been said before. AD is shard locked, Zen is not. So by converting AD to zen you can move your loots over to another shard. By simply converting back to AD, on the new shard. Bonus points if the exchange rate nets you a profit.

A new shard, will in no way, equal a new economy.

Zen is not shard locked. You CAN NOT select a server to transfer Zen into. It simply gets transferred to Neverwinter. It is available on all shards.

You live in an imaginary world made up of your own nonsensical rules.
The people rerolling on this new server will mostly just quit the game otherwise.
They don't want to play with you, your friends, and the other cheaters.
So it doesn't hurt you, those players aren't going to play with you anyway.

Most likely the rerolling people won't exploit the exploits, by definition they're trying to get away form you.

Also, your logic about how it hurts them makes no sense.
In your make believe world, we couldn't punish people who robbed a bank unless we could prove that it adversely affected the economy.
Derp, just have the government print more money and give it to the bank.
Derp, the price of food didn't go up just because one bank got robbed.
Derp. Derp. Derp. <placeholders for your next argument>

Sigh... if they rerolled the forums and I could go to a new forum where you were not, I'd be there!

What the macdoodle do naked girls have to do with anything? At least TRY and make some sense.

Yes people have exploited (no I am not 1 of them and do not know any who have before you try that rubbish), yes it has meant a difference to the price of certain items available on the market. But if there was a server wipe or a new server created there is no saying that the prices on those items would be higher than they are now anyway.

There is no saying that there still wouldn't be lots of people getting to 60 ahead of you and getting the jump on you with items on AH either. If they started a new server or had a wipe then you would not have the 5 days headstart again. Everyone would be able to start at the same time.

Really not sure what you think would be gained by a new server or server wipe compared to what you have now. There would have to be a major reason for it....and by reason I mean advantage of some kind.....in order for it to be a worthwhile exercise rather than just a waste of time and resources to quieten down a few loud mouths on the forum.

As to people/guilds leaving over it...sorry but if they left the chances are they would not have stayed much longer anyway. Such is the nature of modern fast food mmo gamers. Spend 5 mins on a new game then "NEXT!"
