Totally agree. Find a better timing, im sure you can do maintaince better than the 2-4 biggest primetimes of both EU and US, as it is now, its ****ing dumb. And EU ALWAYS gets shafted.

    Your tears...they are sooooo tasty

I can't get all the US players trolling us for complaining. If any player would tell me, "it sucks, they are doing maintenance at my countrys prime time", I would understand him and say, yeah, they should find better hours or do specific servers if needed.
But you come here and argue with us that we shouldnt complain about a maintenance that is exactly at the few free hours us workers have in the day

Emergency maintenance is different from planned maintenance. If you come home from work,go cook yourself something,go hug your partner, stroke your pet.If you have no pet or partner go stand infront of a mirror and pretend you do.

You must be kidding me. In Europe, the maintenance time starts at 17/18:00. That's exactly the time almost everybody leaves work.

    You are genious. Evil genious.

YOU must be kidding ME. They can have all maintenance they like if the countless bugs are fixed. I will not come in the forums whining like a HAMSTER about it that's for sure.

ps: I am European but I do understand that if a company must choose a time for maint he'd rather bring the servers down on EU prime time than in US ASIA and AUST combined. Is it THAT hard for you to grasp that?STop creating useless stupid threads

It does suck, and yes this is my primetime as well(my oddball work hours).
But you have to deal with it, **** happens man.
Your constant moaning makes everyone uneasy and upset, this is why you get hit with stupidity...it is to guard against your stupidity.
"You have a wife and kids? If so, what would happen, if we called you in at 1am, everytime something went wrong!
Be respectful, remember, you PLAY the game at your convenience, they WORK at no ones."

you do realize there is different time zones in the world, as shown in your previous posts.

So you should understand that the maintenance window will fall under SOMEONES' prime time, right?

Beaghan1, I'm on these forums, ALOT, and you always have something nice to say to EVERYONE. I admire that, I tend to just troll and insult everyone. I could learn from you.

    +1

Yes, it is hard to understand. Not doing a 2 hours maintenance in EU doesn't mean they will do it in US,ASIA and AUST time either. Or if I understand you correctly, even at their 3 prime times combined... (hu?)
Even more, as far as I know, the game is not avaiable in asia at all.
Or, do specific servers if its that hard

You're aware that most MMOs with international servers schedule their maintenance times to impact the fewest players possible right? Since this game is only officially available to the western audience there is a large window of time that would affect neither American or European players that would be perfect for maintenance.

Or are you so self-centred that if it doesn't impact you nothing should be done about it?

Its realy simpel... If this continus the game will die fast. Will loos most of EU market becorse they have down time in EU prime time... Lot of games has died becorse of this. Other games go around this to stay a live. I been playing online games over 20 years so i know what am talking about.

Usely ones a week its oky. But when it happends 4-7 days a week for 2-6 weeks game will loos about 50 to 80% of the players in EU.

The thing is I DO understand the frustration, it's during the time I have before work, it sucks, but that's how it is and complaining wont solve it, you or anyone else upset by this are not victims of some grand nemesis plot to spread agitation to gamers around the globe. It's just a company trying to fix their product before the issues become too apparent and suddenly they are flooded with hate from players and even losing numbers, which is a bad thing for them. Bottem line is what benefits the company the most in the end. Not upsetting a few people for a couple hours or leaving things to become bigger problems and potentially losing thousands in revenue?

I think people are misunderstanding the complains. the complain isn't today's maintenance being during prime. the complain is that it's always during this time-frame, and as others have mentioned this isn't just hitting the typical European player, it's also hitting people that work off-hours (I don't know about the exact numbers but over here about 1/4th of the workforce actually works in shifts or regular off-hours, so I'd take it's about the same in the USA, probably even a little worse since you have a lot of these open 24/7 stores)

this isn't just a Neverwinter problem either. it happens in every single MMO I've ever played.

the solution is simple: have a rotating maintenance schedule.

and don't start with the 'they have to be at work' excuse. logic should already tell you that there's always people around working for MMOs. they are part of the 'shift/off-hours' workforce. d'oh.

They already have done maintenance during US prime time hours a few days ago where the servers were down a huge chunk of time.

The difference is we're not so self important thing that they're "trolling" us for doing game maintenance.

    Freaking euros I swear...
