Half-Orc. Oh wait, that's right...
Probably a stinky Human; I'll see what the game is about, if I like the combat, crafting, etc etc, and if it's deep enough, I'll stick around for the Half-Orc.

I can't wait to play Half-Elf, my reason is that it seems to be the only race which has a ordinary/good looking Butt... Halfling looks like they pooped themselves, Elves are flat and formless... humans needs to lay off the pie.
Too many choices. Better question for me is which old character do I want to dust off and play:
Potemeus Fyre (formerly a Bladesinger): Looks to be drow in origin, but mixed blood of the many tribes of elves run in his veins. Thus he is hunted, a legend about an elf of mixed blood bringing all elves back to one scaring many into believing he is the one.
Korinst Rantelli ("of the Dales Rantelli's" - Average human fighter): Comedy relief to many a party, Korinst tends to save the day with blind luck than with his rapier, tripping his way into the history books.
Araquin (formerly created by Shea Lang, RIP) Sheasdotter: Has been a human mage in Faerun, a human mage in WoW, and now I'm thinking of bringing her back as a mixed up tiefling mage who has memories of these events and can't figure out why. Which is why she naturally went into magic.
Rigsid Boulderdash (formerly a (tinker)gnome rogue on Everquest and WoW): Thinking of recreating him as a halfling since there are no gnomes. Like Korinst, he tends to bumble his way through things and gets the party into trouble when he spies a new contraption to examine. No, not gems or precious metals. Just gadgets. You get the picture.

I'd like to play a halfling, but since they're not available yet, I'd try a half-orc.

Halflings. They're my favorite race aside from gnomes. My favorite halfling I've ever made was in Neverwinter 2, he was a druid with a dinosaur pet.

No matter how many new classes new games have, i'm always drawn to play with Dwarves...
Those little frillings are badfrakkers! You are able to smash the enemy face with a huge hammer while drinking beer!

Drow for me. Probably a Great Weapon Fighter. Unless a Monk class pops up between now and then.

Dwarf, a good, small, strong shielded dwarf!

I like the lore and have been playing a Half Elf for many...many years.
