They said in the interviews that for E3 they have 3 premade characters: control wizard, trickster rogue and fighter (don't remember which one). I think that cleric is still being discussed, since they had problem with healing mechanics (weren't sure how to implement it).

Gamasutra link in the OP is incorrect in its format.
Slashes after com and view are missing in the first post link
EDIT: And btw that one is not important. Only explains the reason for delay was that devs weren't confident in linear gameplay so they wanted to release it 'as a vast mmorpg' with foundry. Seems foundry is the main 'buzzword' for them
That is exactly what came to my mind when I saw it. Gameplay is fluid. You can push them, trip them, and it has vindictus like thing to get away from. It just feels like true rpg.
Also, when I saw them running from shadow hands, it felt like final fantasy rpg (those nintendo cartridge games) in which you only attack when monster is out of shell. It felt very RPGish somehow; if there is such a word(though there isn't).
EDIT: Though I hate the jump. Its like in CO, like a slow mo lift, and less of a jump.
It is a very exaggerated hero jump I will give you that. It would be interesting if there was different jump animations/distances depending on strength and athletics.

Frankly the only jump animation in RPG I ever liked was DDO, it was realistic. But feather fall, and permanent feather fall items; they never let you really enjoy that. It also had jump as skill depending on strength - wearing armor reduces it, so to jump at strategic location (being a cleric) I had to remove armor and shield often. That was one thing that imo was unique to DDO - jump animation and skill.
Half life1&2 also had a nice jump.

What is the point of gathering the links in the OP if they don't work there? I already knew the correct link, just was pointing out that the OP one wasn't working.b:cool

nvm then. I thought you were looking for the information. One two keywords can be deleted when linking but I guess he would be thankful to you for pointing that out when he reads them... (wonders why I am even typing...

hey hey hey i m sorry for the link of Gamasutra in the OP i have update now :P
Constructive Crit on the last portion of the vid. When they walk into that room why's the boss waiting. No one else waited on the entire level. But she waits. These guys should be attacking on site if that's the original intent not wait fo the palyer. Also show us more than your trickster we saw them at the last conference. I would still like to see a graphics update even though I am sure it is a bit late now. However the animations look decent. Please, please be the content king. Another thing I would like to point out is you seem to much like DDO. Repeating quest is really the last thing I want to do. Story content should be able to drive us through levels. I'm fine leveling slowly as long as the story is there.

Let me allay some of your fears
The boss waits because the boss is thinking, "AI EM DA BOSSS!!! RAWRRR!!!"
I did post a question about graphics in the thread posted by trailturtle(Admin) but haven't got any answer. We all are used to tight lippedness of devs by now I guess.
What you say bit late is actually the start of the dreaded SOON period. Hope you also adjust to this time reference of 'soon' by many gaming companies like cryptic. The real soon comes after the dates are released for it.
Regarding content, they are depending on you and me, the users to create content. They intend to run this game for 10 years with user content. So if community is motivated, you not only would have to not repeat the quest, you might even have to skip some quests.

Story won't pull through when your on y7our 2nd or 3rd or whatever toon. What needs to be done in NONLINEAR leveling experience which is one of the banes of SWTOR which was a horribly linear leveling experience. The Foundry would be a solution and shouldn't be an issue granted the quality is good enough and the experience is adequate.

That is so true. Outside instant as we've touched upon before with a "live" enviroment is probably the most important part of this game.

They are probably going "wait what, I thought our graphics to be top notch". Of course they ported it over to a nintendo DS to do their testing. You of course are right about the Foundry.

Awesome Sauce!
I can think of a ton of stuff that can be done with that type of combat. Looks like decent team interaction going on as far as roles. Very fluid.
