/feedback the problems i am seeing are that of flow and design. You have taken a largely unaltered piece of content from later in the game and threw it in there as the start but have not planned for teaching the player about things. I will use traps as an example, in Neverdeath the first "trap" is the gas spurts that come from the walls. This doesn't teach you about traps, it sends a " random things in the environment will hurt you" starting off with obvious taps like in the sewer levels that are out there for all to see give players a chance to learn to recognize what is happening, and every time a more subtle trap comes along you think to yourself 'oh, that was well hidden, i need to pay more attention' instead of 'oh HAMSTER how was i supposed to know that was coming?' but that is what the gas spurts in never death are, something you never really see coming or that you should fear them, because the game never told you.
There is also combat, the first combat of neverdeath is a hoard where as the older leveling experience you were slowly introduced to larger and larger groups and you adjust to it, you are taught about it. It was good conveyance. It was good experience, and not in the XP sense.
These changes seem like they are unplanned, unconsidered. The only reason really mentioned for vaulting the other contentr was "visual fidelity" and that isn't a good one, as in my opinion the function of a level is more important than the look of it. The earlier levels of Old neverwinter did a good job of teaching you, of easieing you into the game, letting you learn then testing that knowledge.
M21 doesn't do that. It is unwise to think of vaulted content as separate from the leveling experience, and the first impression they make and the training they give you. They are all connected and were made to be all connected. I keep getting the impression that the Devs aren't even thinking about any of this and stuff is hacked away for arbitrary reasons or for reasons that we are not being told.
It is infuriating, and what is even worse is all the effort i put in to tell you the effects and how i feel is likely wasted on all y'all devs cause i have never seen community feed back be positively acted upon.

PVP Desperately needs some changes/updates before or during Mod 21:
So the PVP season cooldown timer ran out on june 3rd, and PVP seasons have been removed as officially stated they would be.
The last 2 PVP seasons were miserable due to issues like rewards farming on undergeared characters, kick abuse, too many healers, bad matchmaking involving healers, average player skill falling through the floor in mod 20, and an increase in the number of players engaging in match throwing behavior.
The bad conditions in PVP seasons made it so lot of PVPers wanted seasons taken out, but they also wanted other changes/updates made to PVP so the que wouldn't die as a result of removing seasons. A lot of players only qued for the season rewards. Unfortunately, the season system was removed before any other PVP changes/updates were even ready to implement and this decision has killed the PVP que on both XBOX and PC. PS4 is fairing a little bit better but their matches are still low quality.
There has been very little communication about PVP's future ever since the announcement from nitocris that seasons were to be removed, the only things we really know is that cryptic was going to do a stream to discuss ways to evolve PVP. Then a ton of staffing and other issues on cryptic's end caused PVP changes to either be delayed or stopped. Both the devs that usually handle PVP stuff are either gone or reassigned to other projects. I now only am able to get mods to respond, devs been dead silent on PVP matters lately.
As things currently stand, the PVP ques are struggling to pop on XBOX and PC. I rarely see any matches happen anymore and everyone is getting bored. PVP can't be left in this state for multiple mods without everybody quitting. Something needs to be done and it needs to be done soon, even if its small.
PC's Community Projects That Are Currently Keeping PVP Alive:
Robb is hosting large scale 1vs1 training sessions to get more people interested in PVP and train people how to fight eachother. This has been a hit so far, yesterday 2 guantlgrym instances participated and a lot of people enjoyed it.
Aizu and Roniki have also been hosting PVP tournaments every few weeks. These aren't hardcore tournaments, more like mid tier with a mix of strong players and newbs they are training. These have also been successful so far, the most recent tournament had 6 teams in it and the match quality was definitely a lot better than solo que.
PVP changes that need to happen either before or during mod 21:
Razorleaf is suggesting at the very least reverting the PVP leaderboard back to how it was before seasons became a thing. Where it refreshes whenever a new mod starts. Right now its blank. This would help PVPers see who is around and some people would compete for spots even without rewards being present.
There are 2 small but impactful PVP suggestions that get the most community support right now; I highly recommend the devs implement them either before or during mod 21. This would show us PVP isn't going to be left for dead until everyone quits and would improve conditions significantly:
#1) Allowing the PVP que to recognize healer roles and split the available healers in the que as evenly as possible across both teams.
#2) Replace the solo que with duo/solo que. Understood to mean a single que that allows you to either que alone or as a pair, teams will be comprised of a mix of single players and pairs.

Mythic Insignias The 2.5k Insignia powder that is required to upgrade from Legendary to Mythic is too much.
I understand that 15 mythic insignias should be some kind of long term goal to achieve but there is no real way of farming the insignia powder. No way someone can even afford to upgrade insignias for 2 toons. 1, sometimes 2, rare Insignia per dungeon aren't simply enough to justify this amount of powder.
I am really afraid that we will see some kind of "Mythic Insignia Pack" in the Zen market soon
I suggest to decrease the amount needed to 1k Insignia powder. This is a realistic amount that people can achieve, and not only the top 0.1%. _____________________________________

Good point. I'd like to add: If they delete stuff in live/PC forums it wont magically let people find their way to preview forum... Rather the exit.
/feedback So will there be a new zone or is this going to be a low shelf life new mod so that you can introduce the new systems and give people time to level up Bards to end game? or are you just testing the levels and bards first and then giving the new zone later for us to test?
As far as I'm concerned, you, the developers, unnamed due to cowardice, are destroying Neverwinter. This so called MOD 21 is a disgrace and insult to D&D. This is the poorest joke for a mod, I have ever seen in my 60+ years of gaming. You have no idea how to design games. Money is not going to help you when you have no more players on your servers. You have failed. I played a Ranger to 20 lvl on the preview server and I like that character but it's worthless. What does the preview server actually give you. The only thing is the tiniest bit of knowledge of what is coming but remember. The release won't be anything like this. Most will be different, just to make it too difficult for any player. Taking out the EXP and EXP TO NEXT LEVEL, remove any connection to D&D Neverwinter ever had. Of course, it didn't have much to begin with. Since I was there when D&D was created by Gary Gygax and was one of the first certified DM's, I am disgusted with you sorry attempt at game design. Go somewhere else and work for someone else. WE DON'T NEED YOU EVER!

tbh i think most of those that acually cared for the game went after combat rework the sheer fury across the board of players after yet another kick in the teeth not once but three times in the last 6 months isnt going away lets look at what cryptic have done xmas combat rework all the millions of ad and zen spent by players was made semi worthless in 1 day
nerf mirage weapons decide acually mirage were working well as long as poison effect from rogues was removed entire endgame population spend the next 2 months farming mirage weapons including 35 times of running IG (if they only had 1 toon) hopefully without scratching their eyes out then with no warning whatsoever cryptic nerf mirage into oblivion once again saying "oh dear you did all that work never mind got farm tomm instead" on the same day they nerf mirage into oblivion cryptic anounce "we have decided we are dropping everyone to lvl 20 and removing xp from game" yea so i can see another whole raft of player taking their anger and just saying f it not gonna be taken for a ride yet again

unfortunatly we all have seen cryptic over the last few years we all know suddenly there will be insignia powder in the zen store just so they can make a few bucks on the back of this 'upgrade' but we also all know soon as they milked all the $ they can from it they will nerf insignia and give you something else to spend $ on
Insignia powder costs for mythic upgrades should be lowered, 2.5k powder X 15 is too much to be reasonable, especially when its not only mount thing that costs a ton, legendary and mythic collar upgrade costs are also ridiculous. It would be one thing if these items were less useful than they are or aesthetic upgrades for the uber rich, but they are useful enough that they should be made affordable. I normally would flock to upgrade everything to max, but legendary and mythic collars costs are so over the top even I didn't touch it, and looking like mythic insignia costs going to be unreasonable as well.

Some positive feedback on the azure utility bonus and guild xp boon being changed to movement speed:
I saw the xp guild boon and azure utility bonus has been changed to movement speed on preview, I love this change, definitely keep it. Movement speed helps PVP by making it so more players feel brave enough to try harder node rotations and it also makes the gameplay experience feel smoother and more fun. So far the new movement speed sources have been well received by the players I've heard discuss it, rookz liked it too so I'm not worried about it being a balance issue. PVE players would probably like it too.
I still personally need to go in and test the movement speed to make sure there isn't a catch, but on paper, I love this idea

While we do like it, I'm just worried that people may swap guilds for the boon. 10% movespeed is hard to pass up.
I'd say several of the guild boons do affect combat, probably less so for PVE players than PVP ones but several boons grant stats and the revive sickness boon is a staple for trial runners.

Just like it happened to old sharandar campaign, old players kept their boons but new toons cant access to these boons obviously. Underdark; maze engine, acquisitions, elemental evil, undermountain and tyranny campaigns are being removed/ shortened, losing boons for all players that create new toons, where are we getting them? are old payers going to stock boons without penalty by removing or reworking old campaigns?
What about campaign currencies that are left after finishing campaigns, can they be added in a future update of stronghold coffers? what is going to happen to currencies from underdark, acquisitions and udnermountain'keys?

Mount ur winter stead! There's a new race up there!
5 x Azures = 25% an extra movement speed but 100% boosted(10 mystics) Mystic Mount only gives 6% stats wheehehe Tactical 300 = 0.3% stat rating; Single Azure ~ Mystic Mount ~ 16 Tacticals(5%/0.3%) in rating Balanced

With the guild boon, regular boon and mount, people are gonna be running around with +46% movement speed - that's insane
Imo they shoulda changed the guild boon to Forte or divinity/right sidebar regen (All heal & tank classes and maybe the Bard?)

They changed xp gain to movement speed, so in theory, all xp gain sources are either removed or turned into movement speed. Which is great, gameplay feels a lot better if you can run fast without having to lose too much in other things to do it.
Forte sources are already available, but given cryptic is going to nerf potions, the obvious solution is to just increase how much stats enchantments give. Though mythic insignias may be how they planning to get people to replace those stats, I still think they should also increase the values on enchantments, accuracy from sorbet won't be something people are likely to replace with insignias, nobody wants to run mastery insigs.
That mount 6% bonus is irrelevant, doubt many people actually use it. Same with other 6% mounts.

If forte was affixed to 50% and not effected by ratings with it's sources being % also, along with updating boons to be worth more, it'd fix a lot of issues people have with scaling and increasing IL. Forte being tied to ratings makes it such a pain as you lose so much in your forte stats as you increase IL (very few will invest pass just what boons + utility enchants give). I see plenty of players running around with 30% its quite the joke.

I use Mount Speed over XP. Mostly because all my characters are level 80 and I'm not overly concerned with XP overflow rewards.
I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

I'm not sure you understood that part of my post, my mention of 6% was talking about the 6% mount passive slot powers, not the utility boons.

When you unequip gear on one loadout and then switch to another loadout and back again to the original loadout, your gear gets re-equipped automatically to fill the empty slots
Bug Upon switching loadout between different paragons, the "Sniper's Perk" and the "Swordman's Perk" are not procccing and you don't gain the damage bonus!
With regards to XP and personal movement speed, one area to convert may have been missed or text has not changed. In the Alliance structures, XP bonus is given in relation with Stronghold Structure Discount. The text at least has not been changed to reflect that it is movement speed? Also the icon in the Guild Boons also remains XP.

5 x Azures = 25% an extra movement speed but 100% boosted(10 mystics) Mystic Mount only gives 6% stats wheehehe
Tactical 300 = 0.3% stat rating; Single Azure ~ Mystic Mount ~ 16 Tacticals(5%/0.3%) in rating
Balanced
Dead🔪Imo they shoulda changed the guild boon to Forte or divinity/right sidebar regen (All heal & tank classes and maybe the Bard?)

When you unequip gear on one loadout and then switch to another loadout and back again to the original loadout, your gear gets re-equipped automatically to fill the empty slots
Upon switching loadout between different paragons, the "Sniper's Perk" and the "Swordman's Perk" are not procccing and you don't gain the damage bonus!
