I have a few more predictions.
I am not going to discuss the theme (Ravenloft or not) issue any further, as I know a few things I am not allowed to talk about. No, what I want to speculate about is much more fundamental.
The power creep will continue, and there will be some new BiS items
But just what will they make bigger and better to keep the "BiS crowd" hooked?
Armor? Not likely, as many people are still working on gathering the Omuan Tale Carvings they need for vivifying their armor. They would not make that obsolete right away. What we might get would be new armor set with different bonuses and/or stat allocation than the current BiS sets, but same IL and total stats. At some point in the future I expect to see legendary-level armor, with 2 regular slots (+ overload), but not in Mod 14 - that would be too soon.
Weapons? Also not likely, and for the same reason - many people still working on gathering Ampoules for the Omu (or MW) Weapons. Again, we might get new weapons with different powers and/or stat allocation, but essentially the same tier as the current BiS gear.
Neck/Belt? Also unlikely, as we just got a big upgrade from IL 405 to IL 500 items. Once again, new gear with same total stats as current BiS gear but different allocations is a strong possibility.
Pants/Shirts? Possibly - I would not be surprised to see double-slotted Legendary pants/shirts.
Rings? A possibility. Will we maybe see a "mythic-level" ring as the "big prize" of Mod 14?
Enchants? I do not expect the max rank to be raised from 14 at this time. most people are months or years away from having a full set of R14 enchants anyhow. There is, however, one particular 2-stat enchant combination that is missing, and I really expect to see that at some point. A more likely thing would be some new Overload enchants or a BiS weapon/armor enchant.
Artifacts? Well, there are one or two artifacts like Eye of the Giant with higher total stats than the rest. I would not be surprised to see more artifacts like that.
Companion Gear? I expect to eventually see a new tier of companion gear - maybe of the same caliber as the old Loyal gear, but I doubt the next mod will bring that.
Mounts? Could mythic-level, even faster mounts appear at some point? Well, why not.
Companions? It is highly likely that there will be some new companions which are BiS in some sense for the new module, but a new companion tier? No, I don't see that happening.
Strongholds? We might get Stronghold improvements (one more boon plot, private rooms, GH 25, Support 15, viable Marauder event), at some point, and maybe the next mod will bring some of that.
My best bet would be on IL 500 set items with new and various bonuses - and companion gear.
Next in the line would be change in Protector seal vendor so new players could actually buy something there and straight up use it. - that includes adding some neck and waist pieces to this store which are what most beginner player are missing atm. (mostly for companion basic gear up)
As for SH: for example making Stronghold dragonflight grinding event meaningful again would be nice - by adding some leveled-up items to the SH store. But I really doubt about this one, as Neverwinter tends to let all the old currency slowly suffocate under the cover of dust.
If anyone follows D&D through social media: Eyeballs. Eyeballs everywhere!

Not thrilled about the theme. Does not fit at all into Forgotten Realms and the story of Neverwinter. Fortunatly, the other announced changes sound not too bad.
the, think of as unstable dimensional rifts, that appear on most "RPG" worlds as Greyhawk, Kyrnn, amd other too many to list, also reminds me of Magic the Gathering's "Homelands", part of dimension realm for Dominaria, the world of multi-planar realms. it does fit, there were many disappearances of adventurers went to strange fogs, and there were vast graves, and some turned or put to fire to preventing more undeads. only few ever return or end up on different realm that not thier homeworld.
other mod and nothing change class magic still usless for be dps why criptic hate soo mouch magic class and dont allow perfomed builds for make dps so why this the point loadouts if anyway you see 100 times ask for be support never ask for dps in all channels ?
ravenloft in mod 14 confirmed ... the eyeballs suggest a beholder-themed mod 15/16, I guess.
Googly eyes were a special nod to D&D's upcoming Stream of Many Eyes
Speaking of which!
Now, the name of the stream last year was "Stream of Annihilation" which ended up being about "Tomb of Annihilation". "Stream of Many Eyes" seems likely to be based on the name of the upcoming adventure, probably called something like "*insert noun* of Many Eyes".
They are currently running a real-world easter egg hunt of sorts with clues about what the next season is going to be about. They've described it as "the Da Vinci Code meets Gangs of New York". There was also a coded message that said "leave no stone unturned", which was an iconic message from the Eye of the Beholder video game which featured the Xanathar and Undermountain. The easter egg hunt on twitter is also using that as the hashtag. It also seems to be focused on some kind important magical stone.
There is also hope (from me) that there could be a space/planes angle through Skullport or Stardock in Undermountain, but the planes are starting to look a little less likely.
So yeah, Waterdeep/Undermountain is looking more and more likely for Mod 15.
The longevity has to flow around the maps of the characters, items, and story content. Without a lot of details, there are a dozen available maps, 3 more character classes, fallen villains to resurrect in more destructive forms, and Neverwinter extensions to play. We have Makos, P'went, D'vir to layer out IL700, but it hitches on flowing with CRPG to allow a higher PC level than 70 or not. If the devs are reading, I have suggested elsewhere on organizing new PC levels to reach 80, and beyond branching new story content to fill in more of the City of Neverwinter.
Everything mentioned above will go up, and should keep pace with the class paths. This way, IL300 to 420 can be spread out from L60 to L70, then spread IL420 up from there to L80+. An extension/armor locker would be a nice add-on to allow a higher set of equipment to change among three of two.

I can understand any google traductions. But this, it scares me.
