Will the Star of Fortune and Light of Simril vendors go away?

Hi I did not play during last years winter festival. I know the festival ends in a few days, do the Star and Light vendors also go away the exact time the festival ends or do they stick around for a week or so to let people finish exchanging all their holiday currency? Thanks!

The map will close, but they will put the vendor in PE for a short period of time.

The important question this time is will the new Campaign Treasures Vendor still be around for a few days after the event ends ? I'm sure quite a few players will want to keep fishing right up to the last minute/second to get enough for that last Linu, Thayan Scroll or whatever. If the vendor is going to disappear straight away, it would be nice if people knew this before Thursday

Once you upgrade to the Orange Fishing Rod they come pretty regularly

There should be a holdover vendor for lights and stars on the event dais in PE, for at least a few days or until another event that uses the dais takes effect. (The next event is all 2xCampaigns and doesn't require the dais.)

You cannot exchange fish for lights outside of the event map.

Unless they have modified the holdover vendor to add a tab for them (and they neglected to do this with summer sahha tickets), you won't be able to do anything with campaign treasures.

While agree with your assessment, I still think it would be nice if @nitocris83 could get back with something official one way or the other by close of play today, i.e. Wednesday, so that there is no room for doubt and uncertainty

If not, then I would not be surprised to see the first post on here after maintenance on Thursday could be something like: 'Why didn't they tell us the Treasures Vendor would disappear at the end of the event instead of being available for a few days ? I just spent the last [insert ridiculously large number] hours getting the ones I needed to complete my [insert campaign of choice] requirements.

And anyone left with tickets from summer only has clutter in their currency bag, not their regular inventory. Fishing treasures take up bag space.

I don't remember exactly what's on the schedule for coming weeks, but they would have had a holdover merchant if ending at the original time due to the event dais being free. Winter fest now ends right before starting up a CTA or something else with its own store that uses the dais, so there's no room for a normal holdover merchant as well.

There was one time they actually had an extra event merchant for some reason, but they'd have had to patch that in specially. Events and holdover merchants basically look like things that can flicked on and off otherwise, but anything using the dais can't overlap.

I think they did something similar before for this event or another event. They could not host 2 vendors of the event. Hence, they just extended the event and last chance vendor after.
