I still love all the people who argue that ENCHANTS MUST REMAIN VISIBLE IN PVP.
I would love someone to actually sit down and upload videos where advance knowledge of opponent weapon/armour enchant was the critical difference in outcome, especially given that absolutely everything else about the opponent (what they're wearing, what their weapon is, what rank enchants they have and what kind they are, what artifacts they're using, etc) is totally concealable.
"I am being attacked by a GWF who's wearing a wedding dress and using an icicle...but at least I know it's a VORPAL icicle." <--could be a trolltank IV sent or a pve SM destro here for shiggles, but you have NO IDEA. Good jorb on the vorp, tho.
+1 to disable enchants and even better, option to disable EVERY part of the armor we want, like someon else said, some of us like to play barbarians, and it doesn't work with chainmail shirt and pants. Also in some cases the shirt is no needed at all.

If I come to a cap with two enemies on it, one has perfect vorpal and the other nothing, guess who I target to drop first? Figuring out enemy threat potential is important in PvP and enchants are a factor.

They have said that this is on their radar of things to discuss for possible additions to the game.

And whups, you just blew your rotation killing a PvE specced guy using a mulhorand weapon who's here for the giggles. The other dude is a PvP monster who proceeds to hand you your own backside, then picks up his buddy.
Basing your tactics on enchants and enchants alone, where there is so, SO much more information that you're simply NOT getting, seems a trifle stupid (as does storming a point on your own, to be honest).

I mean if the player wants to be a tarzan or wants to be a barbarian without a top, why stop him?

98% of the time it's soulforged/vorp anyway.

It seems like they have been not working on this for a long time.
