I can get all the participants a Purple Owlbear. I can also add to the Player Easter Egg thing with other stuff also - Stronghold Promo Packs, ZEN, Owlbears, etc. Blog is scheduled to go live tomorrow morning.

@StrumSlinger Thanks Andy. Good luck everyone who entered! I'd just like to point out that these are very detail oriented authors. It took them countless hours to "get things just right." Here's hoping we get some decent participation from the player base. Again, good luck guys!

Since I'm a bit slow I don't quite understand these things:
"Easter Egg" quest item requirements:
Label: Authors Choice - each should be different for authentication purposes
Description: Must have "(Easter Egg #)" at beginning of description
Icon: Authors Choice - each should be a different icon for authentication purposes
Must be received by interacting with something and not combat or dialog.

Can you give me an example (detailed) on how to make all of these things?
And where should that be posted? Here or?

I'm talking about the player prizes ofc...I think i have it figured out once I started to play :P (first sentence again).

Yes, @torontodave pretty much described it.

In each quest there are 5 "easter egg" quest items that can be discovered - typically by interacting with an object -- searching a box, etc. Each author has created 5 of these items and hidden them in their quests. Collect all 5 items and take a screenshot of your players inventory containing those itemes. Then post that screenshot in the appropriate entry thread for that quest.

I heard the purple owlbear speed was bugged? wasnt actually 110%? @terramak has this been noted?

Maybe a Tenser's Disc instead? *grin*

This is all fine and good as a contest type thingy ma bob. But how about bringing AD rewards back for completing daily foundry quests. It would go a long way in getting people interested in playing them again. I for one used to enjoy running them, but quickly lost interest when the rewards were taken away with the Rhix fix last summer and haven't run any since then.

Yeah. We've BEGGED for that, and also provided FOOLPROOF fixes that a first-year programmer could implement in a dozen lines of code and Cryptic absolutely does not care, nor, apparently, care about increasing Zen sales.

Nah -- I'm a Necromancer -- and I've already got a Nightmare.
As a mage he'd much prefer traveling on a disc while being able to cast spells.
...unless, of course, it were a Shadow Dragon. (My PnP D&D Eldarth has a Sapphire dragon.

I believe the easter egg deadline is the same as the judging deadline. We'll all find out who wins what, together. =D

I'm also pleased that we've had this much active participation in the contest. The game needs more of this. ;D All 3 got featured, so hopefully the entrants continue to rise =D

I think since that was the original rules we should probably stick by them -- however, @strumslinger mentioned getting more prizes so I'll see if we can get at least one other prize for the Easter Egg contest.
--and of course, to be fair, everyone who is in the first ten will also be included in any additional extension.
