Howdy Forum-goers!
As part of our upcoming release, we’ve got some big changes to our Mount system. The new Mount system addresses several issues with our existing Mounts, allowing players more freedom to pick the appearance of their Mount, as well as which of the new Equip and Combat powers they want to use as part of their Mount. The Stable allows the Mounts you’ve collected to have more purpose, letting you equip them with new Insignias that grant minor stat boosts, as well as unlock special Insignia Bonus Powers – like little set bonuses for matching Insignias properly. We think these changes will make Mounts in general more useful and desirable for our players, and will let players more easily use the Mounts they like.
AccessTo check out the new Mount systems, open your Character Sheet and go to the Mounts tab. From here, you’ll see two sub-tabs – Current Mount and Stables. To start using the new system, you’ll need to have at least 1 Mount.
Features
- Current Mount: The Current Mount tab will let you choose which Mount you want to ride, as well as which Equip power, Combat power, and Movement power you want to use.
- New Mount Equip powers: While a handful of Mounts on live already had these powers, we’ve added more of them to all Epic quality and above Mounts.
- New Mount Combat powers: While a handful of Mounts on live already had these powers, we’ve added more of them to all Legendary quality and above Mounts.
- The Stables: From the Stables tab you can pick which Mounts you want to have in your Stables, where you can equip them with Insignias and unlock Insignia Bonus Powers. You can also see the list of available Insignia Bonus Powers by clicking the appropriate button on the bottom of the Stables tab.
- Insignias: New pieces of equipment that can be attached to any Mount in your Stables, these provide small stat bonuses on their own, but are also used to unlock powers by matching sets of Insignias on a Mount. All Mounts have either 2 or 3 Insignia Slots, and there are 6 types of Slots: Crescent, Barbed, Regal, Illuminated, Enlightened, and Universal.
- Insignia Bonus Powers: Passive powers and proc-based powers that are unlocked by matching the appropriate Insignias on a given Mount. You can see the full list from the button at the bottom of the Stables tab, which can also show you the specific bonuses available to the Mounts you have in your Stables. There are Insignia Bonus powers available to Mounts that have 2 Insignia Slots and Mounts that have 3 Insignia Slots, but all slots must be filled to unlock the Insignia Bonus Power. This means you cannot unlock a 2-Slot bonus at all on a Mount with 3 Insignia Slots.
- In addition, a handful of Mounts on live got some changes/upgrades.
- Wolf of the Wild Hunt was a Rare/Blue quality Mount that came with Rank 1 speed. They have been upgraded to come with Rank 2 speed.
- Medium Adventurer’s Horse was a Rare/Blue quality Mount that came with Rank 3 speed. It is now an Epic/Purple Quality Mount. This means it also now has one of the new Mount Equip powers.
- The Epic/Purple quality Shadow Wolf has been renamed Elite Shadow Wolf, to differentiate it from its Uncommon/Green cousin.
Known Issues• Insignia Bonus Powers that have proc effects do not have proper icons for their buff and debuff icons.
Feedback DesiredThe main thing we’re interested in is how well you understand the system. Are there parts of the UI that are confusing? Do you understand what you get from Insignias and Insignia Bonus Powers? Were you able to find Insiagnia Bonus Powers you wanted, and understand how you could get them? If you have a lot of mounts, were you able to easily find the mount you
We also want to hear about any bugs you might find – do you have a Mount that broke with the new system? Are you unable to equip any of your Mounts, or any of the new Mount Powers? Does an Insignia Bonus power not work right, or not work at all with certain combinations?
Examples:Bug: Insignias: The Barbed Insignia of Leeching gives me 500 Power, instead of the stated 50 Life Steal.
Bug: Insignia Bonus Powers: When I equip a Crescent, Regal, and Illuminated Insignia on my Mount, I don’t gain the Wanderer’s Fortune benefits.
Feedback: Insignia Bonus Powers: I wish Alchemist’s Invigoration triggered off of all potions.

Great job. I have 4 mounts - two purple (Heavy Twilight Nightmare and Heavy Howler) and a couple of green ones (wolf and blue ribbon pig). Everything worked as expected - I could easily switch between mounts, and switch between the different +2000 bonuses unlocked by the purple ones. Everything worked absolutely fine.
What I could not check/test was the insignia stuff - I saw that you could buy insignias in the Zen store and I saw the task in the Maze engine campaign, but those are not available to me. If there are existing ways to obtain insignia for testing they are not clear.
One small bug
If I click on my mount icon, I get a message about having unequipped my mount, but bothing happens...and I can click over and over with the same result (and same message).
Couldn't test the insignia yet, but so far:
Bugs:
1. I couldn't activate the animations on the mounts (the hold on space things like bear roar or tenser flip or the cats turn around)
2. Demon Sled disappears and not added to the stable
- Demon Slide went poof when i tried adding it to stable. R.I.P. Erza Moonstalker 10's Demon Sled.
- Heavy Twilight Nightmares mounting up animation has been swapped to the Heavy Inferno Nightmare's mounting up animation.

Somewhat confusing when first adding mounts to the Stable.
There were 5(?) slots and once full I couldn't tell what was happening when I "added" another mount.
Later, I found that they "existed" in some kinda limbo, but I could right-click on one in the Stable to "swap" it out to one of the others. This mechanic is NOT obvious or explained.
The Good:
I LOVE having the speeds/powers/etc decoupled from the mount so that any mount can benefit for them.
High speed Pig is Awesome! Thanks!
Happens while downloading data from other shard.
Beside invisible mount, most animations are lost since leaving mount and remains lost since changing instance, then crash occurs.

FEEDBACK: It took me some time to figure out that the only way to change mounts was to go back to the 'current' tab. My intuition was to double-click the mount in the Stable tab since that's how you equip pretty much everything else. I think it would be useful to make that select the active mount too.
Bug: inconsistency with passive bonus for "epic" quality. Example I saw is that one Stag give 10% AP back after a daily and the Gorgon give 15% back after a dailyFeedback; Please consider adding ArP to another mount even if it is +2000 variety.Nevermind, I would only suggest increasing the healing done by stag to 15% . Up from 10% to be consistent
For Arp, there is 3 mounts ( + 4000 from Axeb. +2000 from White Tiger and +1000 from Worg ) it's not enough for you ?
The server disconnected me a lot so I didn't get the time to test any others.
The Tenser active power animation is very long relative to a 12 seconds buff.
And can't be activated before the combat, so it will be the choice between missing attacks and doing the animation for a future short buff, or just keep attacking. As it is I don't think I'll be using it.
For such long activation animation I need to be able to do it before the combat, and/or it should last longer, because as I said, it's not something that I'll want to reactivate during the fight. If the buff was longer it would have been nice for boss fights.
The animation itself is very nice though, including the "I'm big" effect.
I think that we need a way to look up mounts in-game via Speed Bonus, Equip Power, and Combat Power. I strongly suggest adding this method of organization to Collections. I feel this could be useful for Companion Active Bonuses as well.
Mount system is very interesting and promising. Of course you can spend some time to learn the rules, because at first sight it looks unclear.
Bug
Demon Sled cannot be added to the stable. When right-clicking there is no suitable option.
Demon Sled disappears. Equipping mounts frequently returns a red error that mounts must have insignia equipped, but it doesn't prevent you form equipping them.
General feedback:
I love the idea, but have two major reservations. The first is about insignia - will they require refinement like current enchantments? That would be bad. Second reservation is that while epic and legendary mounts provide very large bonuses, uncommon and rare mounts appear to provide no bonuses at all. Is this working as intended, or have they just not been added yet? I'm hoping it's the latter - epic and legendary mounts are essentially gated to paying players, and this will further divide paying and non-paying players, leading to even more discrepancy, which is never good.
A few other things - currently there's no "idle" stable for mounts like there is for companions. Are we going to see that added? Please? Devs have mentioned "mounts taking up 13 slots" and an idle stable will fix that. And finally - this one is a longshot - could we see mount bonuses adding to item level? Please? And augments too? And guild boons? An IL 2500 with all of those things is basically equivalent to and IL 3500 without them. The difference is huge. I know this isn't just related to mounts but with them giving such a large bonus it's something that could be addressed.

I need some help filling in some of the missing entries (various Owlbears, Bulettes, etc).
Bug: Barbecued Meat
The "Barbecued Meat" insignia bonus (Crescent + Regal + Barbed) is obviously pointing at the wrong power.
Bug: Medium Pharaoh SteedI was wrong about the requirements for the Barbecued Meat bonus, and the Medium Pharaoh Steed can match them. The "Medium Pharoah Steed" does not appear to be able to match any possible insignia bonuses. It has Crescent, Regal, and Barbed slots. I don't actually have this mount to test. This is judging from the tooltip.
Bug: Medium Palomino Horse
The "Medium Palomino Horse" does not have an updated tooltip. I don't have this mount to test, so I don't know if it actually works with the new system or not.
Bug: Appaloosa Horse & Brindle Horse
The "Appaloosa Horse" and "Brindle Horse" do not have an updated tooltips. They do work under the new system, but not like other mounts. They open like boxes, instead of using the fancy mount-unlocking UI.
Bug: Brindle Horse (Rental) & Sabino Horse (Rental)
The "Brindle Horse (Rental)" and "Sabino Horse (Rental)" that can be purchased from the Mount Merchant for Mount Requisition Tokens do not work under the new system.
Bug: Champion's Return & Champion's Struggle
The word "Can" is unnecessarily capitalized in the description of these insignia bonuses.
Bug: Protector's Camaraderie & Protector's Friendship
The descriptions for both of the "Protector's Camaraderie" and "Protector's Friendship" insignia bonuses say "you gain 0%".
The "Small Forest Stag" is not able to match any possible insignia bonuses. It has Barbed, Illuminated, Enlightened slots.
You can press "[" to open the stable and then press "I" to open your inventory, but not the other way around. The "[" doesn't do anything if the inventory page is open.
Bug: Demon Sled and Frozen Demon Sled behavior
Clicking the Demon Sled (green version) makes it disappear from inventory (and doesn't add it to the stable). Subsequently clicking the Frozen Demon Sled (blue version) makes that disappear and makes the green version reappear in its place in inventory (still nothing added to the stable). From then on, clicking the green version or blue version makes that particular version disappear from inventory and makes the other version reappear in its place.

No Warning that you are wasting a mount.
On the other hand: you can have multiples of the same mount in the Stable, if this benefits you for insignia reasons.
Still: a warning that you already have unlocked that "skin" please!
A sort button would be very nice.
(a crowded list is hard to view, especially with multiples of a same mount in there...)Sort by: Name, Rarity, Insignia Type...
Sometimes it does not activated or is "not noticeable in Combat".
- Request for Frozen Demon Sled Please turn it to BoA.
*Btw How to use the red color or others, i tried different ways but dont get it??
or only 2 procs for example:[Combat (Self)] Your Rejuvenation gives 1161 Hit Points to you.
Sometime" it doesn't activate in Combat" or is not noticeable and definitely less than 10 sec & less Heal.
General request: Please turn the [Frozen Demon Sled] into BoA,
that beautiful mount should not stay unusable just for being on wrong char.
*btw what's the codes for color?Edit: Thanks @beckylunatic.Neverwinter Census 2017
