About the "Easter Egg Players Contest", I have some questions:

When they must be available? Before or after the deadline submission?

They must be in a single map, or all over the other maps?

I probably will end the foundry in a couple of hours / days, and I wanna be sure to do the right thing.

In the other hand, I probably add some details/"change awkward dialogs" until deadline.

Easter Eggs must be part of the foundry quest submitted by the deadline.
They can be ANYWHERE in the quest on any map.
You want to encourage "exploration" but don't want them so hidden no one will ever find them.

Making changes/updates is absolutely okay until the deadline -- you don't want to publish any changes between deadline and contest judging completed.

Foundry is back, but with the sound bug that crashes the editor it will be nearly impossible to finish for some authors. So I'm guessing that the Publishing Deadline must be postponed, again.

Yeah, we'll wait a bit to see if there is some kind of workaround or a fix (ha! could be never).
So, if no fix or workaround happens by maybe Oct 31st, we'll just have to live with it.

updated to v0.98 today.

hosted a playthrough that was both a setback, and inspiring.

a setback cause some medium sized changes must be made, and inspiring cause the player had a lot of fun. =D

Any news on the SoundPreview CrashToDesktop @panderus @badbotlimit? Is it getting looked at in the same build as Underdark?

"Supposedly" they told customer support they fixed it, but it doesn't appear to be fixed last I heard.

I guess maybe we'll have to take a poll Nov 1st and see if entrants would like to wait, or just go for it as is.
Sound effects/ambiance does bring a lot to the party, might be kind of unfair if some have music and some don't.

Could we send a question up the chain to the developers? Just ask them "what is the problem?" It's obviously still broken... for them to say "we fixed it" is just stupid. So I repeat... ask them "what is the problem?"

Sure, go out into the street. Find a wall. Face it squarely, and say "What is the problem?"
It should respond as soon as the developers respond.

It's fine to wait for me, but honestly, I would cancel the contest, there is no point to try to do a contest with a broken and totally useless tool.

Instead, I would do a "The 100+ Bugs Foundry" contest:

Do a foundry with the 100 + bugs that have been reported and ignored since beta!

Contest winner will be those who get more 1 star rating!!!

The use of "Large Snowy Mountain Detail Map" is a must.
